It was never easy for you and the Doctor to go on a date. Just because he was-and looked-older then you. Technically speaking he's older then 90% of the people you met, but the fact he looks like it doesn't stop people from finding it odd. Usually you could care less. They didn't know you both, or anything about your relationship. However, today your waitress just wouldn't let it go.
It wasn't until she past you a note that said: if your here against your will ask for black coffee and I'll call the police.
That was when the Doctor finally snapped.
"Alright that's it! Yes, I'm older then them, I'm even older then you! Technically I'm older then both of you combined, but that doesn't mean we can't be in love. Age is a stupid number that usually depresses people. So, how about you just take our orders and leave us along!"
