"Alexander, just answer one question," Eliza said.

"Eliza, I don't know if I can answer what you are asking," Alexander replied.

Eliza sighed, "Alexander, you don't even know what I am going to ask."

"Oh, right, sorry Betsy," Alexander said nervously and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Alexander, do you miss him?" Eliza asked.

Alexander's best friend just moved away, but Eliza knows that Alexander sees him as more than a friend. Eliza feels that her relationship with Alexander is going nowhere because of his love for John. Eliza is a little broken but she wants to do what's best for them both.

"Eliza, I don't think you would like my answer," Alexander said, avoiding any eye contact with Eliza.

"Answer my question," Eliza replied,

"I miss him all the time, he was my everything. He was the sun in my life and I can't stand being without him, I'm sorry that I am wasting your time and breaking your heart," Alexander said.

"I knew you were going to say that, Alexander, and it's alright. I knew you still loved him and I could never make you as happy as he made you," Eliza said while grabbing Hamilton's hands and looking in his eyes. "I would be perfectly fine if this is the way I make you happy, by letting you go."

Alexander looked at her and hugged her. "Thank you," he said into her shoulder while tearing up a little.

"No problem, Alexander," she replied while hugging him back but soon let go. "Alexander, I called John yesterday and he should be arriving from the airport soon, so I think you should start going so he isn't just standing at the airport."

"You did?" Alexander asked, "Betsy, thank you so much for doing this, I don't know how I will ever repay you."

"The way you could repay me is by being happy and for you to go get your man," Eliza said.

Alexander kissed her cheek, "Thank you, Betsy," was all he said before he was running around looking for his keys and leaving Eliza's apartment.

Alexander rushed to the airport and went to the pickup area and jumped out of the car when he saw his dear Laurens. Alexander ran up to John and hugged him tighter than ever before.

Love is always strong, Alexander's love for John was strong. But the strongest love was Eliza's because she was able to let Hamilton go.
