Her question was: There's this boy I like, how do I know if he likes me back

If this was a perfect world then you could ask him but not everyone has that confidence.

The easiest way to find out is to see the way he acts around you. He could be shy and tries to smarten up when you come near him. Or he could be one of the guys who are confident and just tease you. Like they would take your bag or tickle you etc. All boys are different so it's kinda hard to tell.

Another way is to see if he casually drops compliments. He could say "you look good in pink" or "that hairstyle really suits you" This means he's noticed you.

One time a guy who I liked this guy (still do actually shhhh) and he liked me. He just casually came up to me and said "I need a hug" and instead of waiting for me to reply he just gave me a hug. It wasn't just a friendly girly hug, it was a proper hug.

I think the way to tell is just to see how he acts.
