The next day, I woke up, already wondering if I should go to Johto. My mind and heart both agreed with me, saying "Yes, you should totally go!! And Drew  will be there too...."

I shook my head. Drew wasn't the reason I was going to Johto, right? I had contests to win and there I would beat Drew and win the Grand Festival. I pictured myself in a beautiful dress with Beautifly and Squirtle at my side, hearing the huge crowd clap and shout my name.

But I first had to tell Max. and Ash and Brock. So I told them. And I called my mom and asked her if it was okay if I could go to Johto. I shyly even added that Drew would be there. My mom was so excited about Drew and I blushed a light red. My mom said that it would be fine. So I packed all my stuff into a suitcase and the bag that is almost always around my waist and I went to the dock. I saw Ash and Brock and Max waving. I yelled, "Max, don't worry about me! I'll call you and I'll be coming back in two or three months, 'kay?"

Max yelled back, "Okay, and be safe! Have fun and good luck!"

I boarded the cruise ship. It was actually really nice. I already liked it and I didn't even enter my room yet. And then I heard a voice behind me.

"So," asked an arrogant voice, "I never thought that you'd be here. But it's good I'm here, 'cuz I'll be showing you once and for all, who's the best. Oh wait, I already did show you. It's me!"

I knew by the tone of voice who it was. The voice belonged to Drew. So there he was behind me. I felt my fists tighten and I began to turn red. I was about to give him a piece of my mind when there it was, a rose was offered to me. I began to calm down, starting to blush a light pink.

"So, let me guess, this is for Beautifly?" I asked, my voice filled with sarcasm.

"Yeah, you could say that," Drew turned, his back facing me.

"So Drew, why are you on this ship? I thought your fan girls would crowd around, so I thought you'd need a ship with only you on it," I replied.

Drew turned back around. "Those girls? Oh, they're taken care of. I've left them out on the dock, letting them bask in the glory that's all mine." He smirked.

Now I really had the urge to wipe that smirk off that face of his.

Here came another rose that was offered to me. Two roses already? Wow, I was close to blowing my top.

I calmed down, once again. I always did treasure the roses Drew gave me, that's something I have to admit. And whenever we were by ourselves, talking, I felt a little more... alive, you could say. You get the idea?

Drew ruffled his hair. Usual. He asked me, still with that smirk on his face, "Hey, wanna have some dinner with me? I need some company."

I couldn't pass this opportunity. I almost never passed any opportunity with Drew. Oops, did I say that? I guess I did. I began to turn scarlet. I heard my own voice shakily answer, "Sure, I'd love to. When should I come?"

One of Drew's eyebrows rose. "Come to my room at around seven. My room number is 452."

"Wait, your room is 452? Mine is 453. So I'm guessing we're across from each other. Convenient," I said.
