Drew's P.O.V.

Once we got to the hotel where May is staying, I started to have a bad feeling. I think we were going to go shopping for my costume.

And as a guy, I'm not a big fan of shopping. The only things I go shopping for is electronics. Other than that, I really don't like shopping.

Once we got to May's room, May changed into another decent change of clothes. I didn't have much of a need to change my clothes, so I'd be alright.

May opened one of her suitcases and took out three dresses. One I recognized to be the dress May wore at that interesting dinner back on the cruise. The others looked like this: one was a sky blue with small frills and a sapphire necklace with blue flats (I think that's what they're called) and the other was a light purple. This one didn't have as many frills as the other two dresses, but it sure had a lot of bows. One tied around the waist, and the rest were scattered. The purple dress had an amethyst necklace to go with it and light purple heels as well.

My mouth was wide open. These probably cost 500 Pokemon Dollars each! But I don't think too much about it, considering the fact that whenever I win a contest I get only a small amount, even though to others it would be quite a lot.

Well, these dresses are pretty attractive. Anyone would have a hard time to not notice the person wearing the dress. I decided to get a silverish colored suit to go along with May's blue dress. I'm not the kind of person so into fashion, unlike May, so I just told her that a silver-colored suit/costume would be fine for me.

And then the worst part of it happened: I had to try so many suits for around four to five hours at the mall. I felt like a dress-up doll. I don't get it, why do girls like to go shopping?

After a whole lot of torture, we were able to agree on a nice silver suit with some nice shoes to go with it. I was happy and we were going to the food court (Me: Remember that May likes to eat).

We picked up some fries and two shakes, and then we got going. Once we came outside, I noticed that the sun was starting to get lower with every passing hour. I checked my watch.

It was four thirty. So one and a half hours left to get ready. Once we walked back to our respective hotels, I took a quick shower. I put on the suit and the shoes and even dared to put some gel in my hair.

I wonder what May looks like in that blue dress of hers.

I took a nice hot shower to freshen up.

After that, I dressed myself in the sky blue dress and clasped the sapphire necklace around my neck. I put on the flats and placed a small amount of makeup on my face.

I feel refreshed after relaxing for an half an hour or so.

I let my hair down in the regular way I usually have it. I had a blue bow on top of my hair. So now I was all ready for the contest.

I had Blaziken in its Poke Ball, all ready to go win the contest.

I walked over to the place where Drew and I had planned our rendezvous, right in the area where Drew and I had our battle.

I noticed that Drew was here before me. As usual. I looked down on the ground, wondering how Drew liked the dress. I liked his suit. It looked better on him than what I saw in the mall.

"May? Nice outfit. Didn't know you had such a great sense of fashion..." Drew smirked.

I thought to myself, "This really isn't the time for his smart remarks...."

Another thing. I noticed that Drew was blushing furiously in all the shades of red that were in the world. To be honest, I've never seen Drew like this.

But to admit, I did blush when I saw Drew. The suit matched his style. I knew through the shine in his hair, he had some gel put on it.

He looked...... Well, right now I can't think of the word, but it's a good adjective to describe his looks.

Wow..... May looks even more beautiful. She looks gorgeous in that dress. I think blue matches her somehow.

I felt my face turn red. But what made me feel better was that May had the same reaction.

What's happening to me? Is it because I'm a teenager? That's probably why I have some of these thoughts.

Anyway, we began to walk to the Contest Hall. Everything was all new, and I can see the other coordinators talk to their Pokemon and give them Poke Blocks.

But what made me a bit nervous was that everyone was staring at us. I'm assuming they were doing that because of the way we were dressed.

I ignored it; I don't know what May's reactions were exactly. But it was time for us to win that contest!
