3RD POV
"hey let's go by our place today," zach suggested as he and eliza suggested both of them were sitting in zach's car parked in the parking lot, "today?" questioned eliza as she didn't even gaze at zach.

"yeah i want to spend more time with you," zach smiled as he looked at the girl who looked lost, "is something going on you seem zoned out?" zach asked as the girl broke her thoughts looking at zach.

"yeah everything is fine don't worry i'm great," eliza forcefully smiled at the boy who looked now confused as he softly smiled at the girl, "i'm sorry about friday i didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable in any way," zach apologized to eliza who shook her head.

"it wasn't your fault i'm just not ready yet to take things to that level," eliza explained as zach nodded, "i mean jack also and now my ex is back-" eliza started but she shut her mouth but zach had already heard what he had to hear.

"wait what?" zach asked his eyebrows furrowing as he started at the girl who's head now rested in front of her, "eliza please tell me what's going on," zach pleaded after he had seen that the girl was on a whole different state then she usually is.

"fine my ex is back," eliza answered as her head shot up staring at the brunette boy, "ok and what's up with this ex?" zach asked once again, "he got expelled for doing something really bad and now he's back and it's bad," eliza replied as her hands grabbed her hair.

"what is this bad thing?" asked zach now more concerned that he was a minute ago, "if i tell you this you have to promise me that you won't look at me any different," eliza looked at zach's chocolate brown eyes as her body turned towards him, "i promise," replied zach, the girl got in a crossover position facing zach, him doing the same.

"before you start can i hold your hands?" zach asked as eliza giggled a little nodding as she stretched her hands out, her fingers meeting hers.

"when i first moved here i was just starting high school and i thought that all the fun was getting a boy and dating him, the first person i met here beside bea was jack we were friends, screw that best friends, we told each other everything the good and the bad, one night he invited me to go grab dinner with him and that day he had brought dylan with him, i met dylan and things between me and him really hit off, we always hung out together, which meant less time for me to hang out with jack, me and dylan started dating and life was better then amazing, until one night i was invited to a party as dylan's date and well we obviously went, that night i wasn't feeling my best and i wanted to go home, i told dylan and he said that we should go to a room so i could calm down, we went upstairs and h-hhe locked the room and he-he—"

eliza broke down as zach's eyes showed nothing but sympathy about the girl, "eliza you don't have to tell me really that's enough," zach assured the girl who shook her head wiping her tears.

"after that horrible night i was slut shamed at school and on monday i tried to talk to jack but he pushed me off saying that i was a slut and not who he thought i was, i talked to bea who had found out that the whole time dylan was playing a trick and that he had won the bet of getting me in bed with him, and he had made that bet with the one and only jack avery, to be honest i didn't believe that jack would do that but after i connected the dots it made sense, i reported dylan for everything he did and he got expelled and send to prison for a year, and now he's back with a bunch of money payed and i'm really scared."

finished eliza as she still had tears streaming down her face as zach rubbed her hands with his thumbs a moment of silence between the two.

"i'm sorry eliza," zach apologized as eliza shook her head, "it's not your fault zach but for a minute you reminded me so much of him that i thought i was going crazy, i shut down all of the boys that tried to come on my life other then my brother, until you came and let me tell you zachary dean herron you were something different," eliza finished as zach smiled softly.

eliza and zach both stared at each other's eyes intensely neither one of them doing anything or moving.

"can i kiss you?" zach asked all of the sudden as eliza bit her bottom lip and without a word being said she smashed her lips into his, they lips both molding together and moving in sync.

"i love you elizabeth"
