Jungkook's pov:
Eventually, I was able to go to Jin's house after two days thanks to my persistent endeavor. I was in front of his house, waiting for him to open the door. I had new grocery bags with me. Jin opened the door.
"Hi!" He was absolutely excited to see me there, something that made my own heart beat faster.
"Hey. It's nice to see you again." Due to that, I was a little nervous. Jin lowered his head and sighed when he saw the bags.
"Jungkook, please, what am I? A charity case?" He wasn't rude. There was just a hint of shame in his tone. I was certain he felt like he was using me, even though I did it all because I wanted it myself. I didn't say anything, and the lack of response from my side made him heave another weary sigh.
"I guess you're right. Let's get real here. I'm even worse than a charity case." He let out a chuckle, but it was out of depression. He didn't say anything further for a while. He just had an empty stare aimed at me. It was definitely empty of any known emotion.
"Ah, I'm terribly sorry. How rude of me. Please, come in." He finally remembered that we were both waiting outside. I flashed him a smile.
Jin got the bags from me like the last time when we got in. Taehyung was watching some show on the TV in the living room.
"Oh my god! Jungkook, is that you?" He jumped up from the sofa when he saw me.
"No, I'm Jungkook's twin brother. Just came because he told me so." It was my turn to get cheesy and weird with him.
"Ha, so funny! I'm rolling on the floor!" Taehyung said as he reached for me. Before I was able to move a muscle, he hugged me tightly. Just like the previous one, it was really sincere and warm. He broke the hug after a while. His eyes fell on Jin with the bags as he was going to the kitchen.
"You brought stuffs again. Stop putting yourself in trouble for us."
"It's really nothing."
"Thanks, man, literally for everything. I've been staying here with Jin these two days, and we both had decent meals because of you. I'm feeling healed all over thanks to you."
"Please, don't mention it."
"What are you saying over there?! "Please, don't mention it!" How can we not mention it?" Jin shouted from the kitchen. He imitated my voice so well that I could mistake him for myself!
"Do not take offence. He was really happy these days. He had me here. He didn't have to do his job, and shits didn't happen. It was all very peaceful and calm." Taehyung whispered to me.
Hearing the fact that Jin hadn't done his job made me delighted more than anything. As I grasped the situation, I realized it was a great time for my plan. Jin was in the kitchen. Taehyung and I were alone together.
"Taehyung, can I ask you a few questions?" I said as quiet as Jin wouldn't hear.
"Yes. Of course you can!" Taehyung cheerfully shouted. I was sure for Jin, it sounded like Taehyung was talking to himself for my voice was so low and his was loud as hell.
"But I need you to not tell anything about this conversation to Jin. Promise?" I whispered once more.
"Why not?!" He asked me louder than before. He was visibly surprised by my request.
"Because, it's about Jin's past and parents." Taehyung frowned immediately after hearing this. Nonetheless, it didn't make me stop wanting to know. In fact, it motivated me to become more curious and know about the subject.
"Taehyung, please-"
"We can't talk in here. Hang on." This time, he whispered even lower than me.
"What?!"
"Jin, I wanna take Jungkook for a stroll. I like to show him around. Will you be ok by yourself for a while? We'll be back soon. Don't worry." Taehyung shouted for Jin in the kitchen.
"I'm not a kid, Taehyung. I've been living here all my life for god's sake. Take your time. I'll make something for you guys till you come back." Jin shouted back to Taehyung. The two of us exited the house instantly after that.
"I wanna take you somewhere special." Taehyung blurted out and started walking.
"Isn't it better to take my car?" I was really impatient to finally find out everything.
"It's not really far from here. Don't worry about your car. Kids are not playing here to throw stones at your car or scratch it!" He seriously thought I was worried for my car!
"Also, going with your car wouldn't be a stroll, now would it?!" Taehyung added to his previous speech.
"Let's just go." I said, already giving up on the idea.
Taehyung was leading me the way. He was really a genius for finding directions. He took weird ways and shortcuts that I was definite most of the people in that area didn't even know they existed.
"Taehyung, where are you taking me?" I really appeared like a kid in that moment due to my intense lack of patience.
"You'll see for yourself. We're almost there." Taehyung replied without looking back at me. After like walking for five minutes, Taehyung opened his mouth.
"I told you we don't need your car. Ok. Here, we are. Welcome to the place that used to be my home years ago." He uttered and got out of my vision to give me a view of the place. I wanted to scold him for his stupid tour guide, but I was rooted to the spot when I saw what was laid before my eyes. It was impossible!
"I know this place." I mumbled to myself without having an ounce of control over my tongue.
"What? What did you say Jungkook?" Taehyung asked and came closer to hear me.
"I know this place. Taehyung, I know this place!" I finally was able to put myself together to at least speak words.
"How the fuck is that possible?! It used to be my home, Jungkook. How do you know here?" Taehyung was even more dumbfounded than I was.
"I don't know how, but I've seen this place before." I lied to him. I knew how and exactly when I saw that place.
How could I forget that? Every detail in that ruin matched the one in my dream; the fallen bricks all over the place, the burnt door, the broken windows, and above all, the roof. It just had one thing missing or better say one person, my mother.
"Dear Lord! You seriously beat me for being a weirdo, man!" Taehyung muttered while scratching his head. I couldn't even let out a word of complaint. He was totally right. At least, he was right in that very moment.
After waiting there for a while and looking at the place shockingly enough, I finally recalled why I was there in the first place.
"Taehyung, please tell me. Tell me everything." It was like he was precisely waiting for me to ask that question.
"Follow me."

I said in my board that I wouldn't update, but it didn't take long for me to edit this chapter.
