Love. A four lettered word that holds so much power just by being spoken. It can bond people together, or cause reckless decisions. It can last a lifetime, or break in a short amount of time. It holds many different meanings, but is used as a universal language. Some have it, others don't. Some crave it, others hate it. No matter what, everyone has and will experience love in their lifetime.
We can all thank the Greek goddess Aphrodite for this, for she is the one who brought this experience into our lives. They say that when you pray to her, soft pink rose petals will scatter around you, and she will appear to you in the form of a white, beautiful dove. There is no proof that this truly happens, but many have told their stories of being blessed with her presence. She has helped so many people find and experience love, that it baffles the gods how she has no one to call her "true love" herself. What she doesn't know, however, is that she will find the one for her very soon. Unfortunately, along the path of finding love, comes hurt, grief, anger, and sadness. This is the story of how the goddess of beauty and love found her own happiness. This is the story of (Name), and the fight her friends must endure in order to win her love.
