The fleeting sun's rays hit the clouds, giving them an ethereal glow. They took on a soft gold shade, making the land below them the same sort of tint. There were few birds up this high in the atmosphere, but alas, a lone dove could be seen weaving its way through the clouds. Rose petals were flowing around in the air, emitted from a certain figure.

The figure sighed, receiving yet another prayer from someone down below, asking for the strength to finally confess to the one they love. After a while of listening, the goddess whispered something, a few small, baby pink petals leaving her lips. The petals flew in the wind, descending from above the clouds to appear by the person who had prayed. After that was done, the goddess just stayed there, on the golden clouds, looking over the vast land in front of her. Oh, how she wished to venture on further, away from all the duties and responsibilities of being the goddess of Beauty and Love. However, she knew what her fate was, thus her reason of never leaving her palace.

"Miss Aphrodite?" The goddess turned at the sound of her name, meeting the gaze of one of her guards. He cleared his throat, a small blush present on his features. He couldn't help it, no one could; she was just too beautiful.

"Yes?"

The guard gestured toward the stone palace behind them, blush fading away, a more serious look adorning his features now.
"Eros and Kratos are here to discuss some important issues."

The goddess scoffed, a small smile gracing her lips, her eyes crinkling a tad in delight.
"Oh, please. If both Kaminari and Kirishima are here, it is anything but serious, let alone important."

The guard let out a small chuckle, before following her into the way inside.

"Before I go, I must say, how many times have I told you to call me (Name) instead? None of this formal 'Aphrodite' nonsense is necessary."

You looked back at the guard, a small, playful pout making its way onto your face. There was mischief in your eyes, however, as there always was whenever you joked around.
The guard flushed in embarrassment, reaching a hand to the nape of his neck and scratching it.

"U-um, I am sorry, Miss Aph-" he stopped for a moment, remembering what you just said, and corrected himself.

"Miss (Name)."

You chuckled, patting his shoulder before heading inside.

As you walked down the hall that lead to the main room, you gazed at all the rose bushes that were scattered around the palace. There were so many different colors of the same flower, but who could blame you. All of them were just too lovely! Red, yellow, white, and your personal favorite, a beautiful, pastel pink. The majority of your flowers were this color, but there was still a large variety. Whenever your gaze fell onto these bushes, you always wonder how magnificent if would be if you could have a full pasture of them! But, alas, you have duties to attend to, and you wouldn't want your servants to be over worked by maintaining some plants just because you like them. Besides, having someone else do all the work just takes the fun out of gardening.

Arriving at your destination, you saw two of your best friends chatting away at each other, bright smiles on their faces. It seemed that they were joking about something, seeing as how Kirishima playfully shoved Kaminari's arm. Their laughter caused your smile to widen, and take faster steps toward them.

"Good afternoon, Kirishima and Kaminari!"

You waves your hand at them while approaching them.

"Oh, hey, (Name)! We just stopped by to say hi and see how you're holding up here," Kirishima responded, a very faint blush kissing his face.

You noticed a bit of sweat on him, making some of his skin shine. Must have just gotten finished with training. As expected from the god of strength and power.
A second voice brought your attention back to the boys, as did an arm being drooped around your shoulder.

"My dear (Name), every time I get to see your gorgeous face truly is a blessing. A shame that I have limited vists. Maybe there's a way we could always be together?" Kaminari's sultry voice made its way to your ear, and you could see his eyebrows raise in a playful manner. You just chuckled and gently took his arm of your shoulder, holding his hand gently.

"Oh, yes, a true shame, Kaminari. But, if you are suggesting that we are to get betrothed, I am afraid that I cannot do so," you replied to Kaminari's implications, laughing at his sad pout and big eyes.

"Awe, why not? You must surely need some help here!"

You glanced at the two boys before nodding your head and walking, hinting for them to follow.

"Are you sure that is the true reason? Besides, we wouldn't all your girlfriends to have broken hearts, now would we?" Your sly answer was enough to cease Kaminari's teasing, and also causing him to flush a bright red in embarrassment.

Kirishima heartily laughed, causing Kaminari to shove him. After his laughing fit, Kirishima addressed you once again.

"But, hey, in all seriousness, we came to invite you."

The trio of you stopped near a fountain that payed outside of the palace, next to your chambers. You turned to the red head, raising an eyebrow.

"Invite me? To what?"

The two males grinned at each other, before Kirishima continued.

"A small gathering, I thought that it'd be nice to meet up with some of the other gods, since you've only known the two of us."

You contemplated the invite, a small piece of hair falling in front of your face.

"Hmm, is that the true reason? If I didn't know any better, Kiri, I'd say you're calling me a hermit."

Kaminari chuckled, rubbing his neck.

"No, not at all. I just thought it would be a good idea, since you're always working and never have time off."

You nodded in understanding, bringing a hand to rest beneath your chin.

"Valid point. Well, when is this soirée happening? "

"In about a week, just enough time to send out all the invites and plan the decor," Kirishima responded, Kaminari nodding his head from behind.

"Talking about decoration, we sure do need a lady's touch, so will you help us with that too?"

You smiled, and put a hand on both of the gods' shoulders.

"Of course. I'm already so excited!"

The red head and electric boy both beamed at you, before turning in the direction of the entrance.

"Thanks a bunch, (Name)! We'll discuss the details whenever you're free again, just send a messenger and we'll be here,"
Kirishima informed while walking away.

Just as the two were about to leave, however, Kaminari stuttered in his step as he remembered something.

"Oh yeah, you don't have to be extra fancy, so don't wear your council attire!"
the blonde informed while waving.

"Anyway, bye (Name)!"

And with that, they were gone.

Standing by the fountain, you smiled gently, growing more excited by the second. However, you were a bit anxious to meet with other gods that you have only heard about. Even if you were teasing, you couldn't shake the nerves away. Even with your two best friends, there was a chance of you being a nervous wreck. Work really had cut into your leisure time, that could count the number of times you've met up with Kirishima and Kaminari on one hand. Shaking away the thoughts, you headed into your personal chambers. Even if it was a whole week away, you wanted to find nice enough clothes to wear for the party. First impressions are everything!
