If you haven't, read the first chapter again, since I changed the story. Sorry for the inconveniences, I just couldn't think of a way to write in the direction it was going before.

It was the day of the party, and you were currently at Kirishima's palace, planning the decorations for tonight.

"Hey, Kaminari! Can you bring me those vines? The ones with the roses?"

The god of sexual desire waltzed over to the supple amount of vines, trying to find a way to pick them up without pricking himself.

"Ah, are you sure you need these?"

You sighed, before heading over to the blonde. Without hesitation, you grabbed the pile of vines and strewn them around the recreational room, which was covered in many other decorations, such as grape vines, marble statues, and birds fluttering around.

After getting all the decorations in place, you huffed and put your hands on your hips. Kaminari stood beside you, a smile on his face.

"Wow! This looks great!"

You smiled also, before feeling a liquid on you arms. Looking down, you noticed the stream of blood cascading down your arms, bringing a frown to your features.

Kaminari noticed this from the corner of his eye, and when he finally turned to look at you completely, he gasped.

"Dear Gods, (Name)! You're bleeding!"

You didn't respond, gazing intently at the sticky warm liquid. What a beautiful color. You came back into reality when Kaminari grasped your hand gently and led you to the restroom.

"Ah, it's not that big of a deal. It's not like I'll die," you tried to joke, but this just made Kaminari's frown more.

"Immortal or not, you still should be careful."

Sitting on the edge of Kirishima's bathtub, you watched as your blonde friend rummaged around for alcohol and gauze, muttering all the while.

"Aha! Here it is."

Setting down the supplies, Kaminari kneeled before you, gently holding your arms and dabbing them with alcohol. You winced, a whimper coming out of your lips. The male in front of you creased his eyebrows, feeling guilty about bringing you pain.

"Hey, look at me."

You did as commanded, your eyes meeting electric yellow ones, sparkling with an interest while staring back at you. Everything seemed to stop for a moment, before you realized that you were looking for too long. Embarrassed, you looked down, your face flushing a baby pink.
Kaminari also noticed his staring, and coughed to distract himself from your face.

Wrapping your arms in bandages, he sighed and stood up.

"Done! Good things the cuts weren't too deep."

Offering his hand, you took it and stood up alongside with him. Before he could walk off, you took his other hand and turned him to face you once more.

"Thank you so much Kaminari! Ah, sorry for not being more careful, but I'm glad that you were able to help, my knight in shining armor!"

You giggled, oblivious to Kaminari's dazed expression. His face felt as if it was on fire, and his eyes were wide open, wanting to capture the beauty that was in front of him so he could remember it. Gosh, your hair perfectly framed your face, and the small blush that cover your cheeks just look amazing on your (s/c) skin. Then, he remembered that you were holding both of his hands, causing his face to get even hotter if possible. Kaminari nervously chuckled, before taking his hands out of your smaller ones.

"YeAH-"

He cleared his throat, face reaching outrages temperatures due to his voice crack, and then continued.

"Yeah, no biggie. I gotta do what it takes to keep my princess safe."

He winked at you, causing you to roll your eyes. The two of you headed back to look for Kirishima before you departed ways. You cupped you're hands around your mouth, too lazy to go around the whole palace just to look for your friend.

"Kiri! We're done with the decorations! Where are you?"

You waited for a response, until you heard a loud crash from near the kitchen. Kaminari looked at you, shrugging his shoulders before making his way towards the noise. You followed him, and when you finally reached the kitchen, you covered your mouth before you could burst out laughing.

"Ha ha! What in the underworld happened to you, dude?"

Kaminari, however, wasn't as polite and cracked up instantly. There, on the ground, sat Kirishima, a cute frilly apron around his large torso, and with frosting covering most of his body. His face heated up once both of his best friends started laughing at him, furrowing his brows and finally getting up.

"Ugh, I'll just have to call Sato to make the cake," he mumbled.

Your laughter calmed down, and you brought the muscular man into a side hug. He leaned his head on your shoulder, allowing you to pay his spiky hair.

"Awe, Kiri. At least you tried your best."

He smiled at you, before pulling back from the hug and taking off the apron.

"Eh, it probably would've tasted like shit anyway."

"Thanks again, you guys! I'm so excited for tonight!"

Kirishima beamed brightly at you and Kaminari, handing you both a slip of paper to know the exact details for the party.
You smiled also, hands cupping your cheeks as you radiate an eccentric energy.

"I can't wait! I'm glad I'll be able to meet some of your friends!"

Kaminari chuckled and put an arm around you, a cheeky smile on his face.

"Eh, there are some you should be wary of. For example, this one little guy that has a foot fet-"

Before he could finish, Kirishima slapped a hand over the blonde's mouth, giving him a small glare.

"I'm offended that you'd think I'd invite him. Besides, (Name) doesn't ever need to know about him. Ever."

You smiled at your two best friends, before bidding them goodbye. As you waited for your chariot, you looked down at your arms. The white bandages were stained a light red, almost making them pink, with various sizes of blotches. Strange, you'd think the wounds would have healed by now. The chariot had finally arrived, and you were soon on the way to your own palace. On the ride, you remembered this feeling of being watched by something unknown. You could even feel the burning sensation of eyes on you, but it thankfully has left you.

Leaning your head on the window, you looked outside at the passing clouds and birds, hoping everything goes good that night.

However, things would be far from it.
