A Break From You

Avery's P.O.V

After Luke and Calum came back in, the boys all decided that they were going to spend the night here in my house,without even asking me."Hello.This is my house and never did I say 'Mi casa is tu casa'."It's rude to invite yourselves to spend the night."Ashton giggled."Okay.Ms.Avery, may we all spend the night?"I slowly nodded my head.Then all four of the boys tackled me into a group hug.I awkwardly patted their backs."Guys let's have a movie night."They all excitedly pulled away and screamed.Boy this was going to be a long night.

Me and Luke were together on the biggest couch.Michael was on the love seat.Calum and Ashton were both in the floor rolled up into a sleeping bag.Wow they look like burritos.Speaking of burritos,I want one now.I turned to face Luke."I'll be back.I'm going to get a burrito."He smiled and nodded."Can I come with you?"I nodded and pulled him to his feet."Guys we are leaving to get a burrito from Taco Bell.We will be back later.Bye."I said while waving.They didn't even acknowledge us.We shrugged our shoulders and left.(I'm American so I don't know if they have those in Australia so just bare with me. :D)

I got into my car with Luke in the passenger's seat..He grabbed my hand and held onto it.I looked down at it uncomfortably."Uh..Luke.Your hand?"I don't really know why that makes me uncomfortable considering I just made out with him earlier.He frowned."Uh yeah.Sorry."Then he turned around and looked out the window.I shrugged knowing I was the reason his mood dropped.In a way I felt bad, but not that much."Look Luke,it's not that I don't like you or anything."He interrupted me."Well then what is it!"His yelling startled me."Don't you dare yell at me!As I was saying.It's just we kissed that's all.We aren't automatically together.I don't even like you like that."What I had just said was a complete lie.If you back away then you won't get hurt and he will never leave."Well okay then.Sorry."After he said that he became completely quiet.It's not like he would ever like a girl as lame and stupid as me.

Luke's P.O.V

Do you hear that?It's the sound of my heart breaking and falling into little pieces.I could have sworn she was into me.Haha she probably likes Calum.She must not have felt the sparks like I had in that kiss."Look Luke,I'm glad to have you as a friend.But I think I need a break from you."She was nervously biting her lip."So tell me that you didn't feel anything in that kiss.Tell me you don't like me even the slightest bit."I didn't feel anything in that kiss and I don't like you at all."I froze."Look me in the eys and tell me."She sighed."Luke I'm driving just believe me."I shook my head."No I won't believe you until I see it in your eyes.I know you better than you think I do.You are scared that I will hurt you or leave you.You think that if you brush your feelings off then you won't have to worry about the pain."We were now at a stoplight and she quickly turned to face me.Her mouth was hanging open."Tell me if I'm wrong."She looked down and shook her head."Luke I do like you.But you will just leave like all the others."I grabbed her hand and kissed it softly."Baby Girl I would never leave you.I don't think I could because I think I have fallen deeply in love with you."She jerked her head up and her eyes danced around my face.She was seeing if I was lying."You...you do?"I nodded."I think I have already fallen for you Luke Hemmings."I wanted to kiss her so bad, but the honking horn form the car behind us made us jerk away and she began to drive.

We got to Taco Bell and ordered our burritos.When we got them we found a seat and slowly began to eat."Luke what are you doing to me?You are changing me so much and it's for the better."I smiled and blew her a kiss."Well ya know I am the Luke Hemmings and I'm just to awesome for you not to love."She frowned."You just legit killed the mood."I nodded then began to chuckle.Her laughs followed after my own."I know this is fast but if I promise to take it slow can we one day be an us?"She giggled and nodded."Ya know I think now could be that time."Nearly choking on my burrito, i turned to look at her and rose my eyebrow as if I was asking if she was serious."Yes Luke I'm serious."After swallowing I asked the question I've wanted to ask for so long."Well Avery will you become my beautiful girlfriend?"Her response was a small head nod.
