Avery's P.O.V

Waking up to arms wrapped around your body is a great feeling.I rolled over to face sleeping beauty beside me. Luke looked so peaceful in his sleep.His hair was messy and wasn't in his usual quiff.His mouth was slightly opened and he was lightly snoring.I started to run my fingers through his hair. "Victoria stop.I want to sleep.Go back to sleep and come here and cuddle with me babe."At the sound of another girl's name I immediately stopped running my hands through his hair.What?Why did he call me Victoria?Oh he must have another girlfriend.Wait!I slapped his arm.He jumped up."What was that for babe?"I was fuming mad."Don't call me babe.Just get out! I thought you were different but I was wrong."He looked so confused."What are you talking about?What the hell did I do?"I frowned.He sucks at lying."Luke leave.Now!"I yelled while pointed towards my door.He shook his head while mumbling things under his breath and he walked out.After he left, I curled into a ball and cried myself to sleep.

I woke up to my phone ringing.While groaning I looked at the caller ID.It read ☺️Lukey Pookey❤️.My finger pressed ignore.Seeing his name made me want to cry more.Though I won't let this hurt me anymore.It's my fault for getting so close to him.I knew he'd leave.They all do.Even though I fell for him...Wait!What?No me Avery Adams does not fall in love.Those you love will all leave one day.I'm just upset because I lost a friend.Yeah that's all.

To get my mind off things I decided to clean the house.I changed into work clothes and tied my hair up into a ponytail.I turned my Bluetooth on and it hooked up to my portable speaker.The music from my phone began to blast through the speaker.I smiled to myself and got to work with music to the max.I started with picking up all my dirty clothes that were lying around in my room and in the bathroom.I took them all downstairs to the laundry room.Once they began to wash I started with dusting the house.That took about thirty minutes.After that I vacuumed then did dishes.The rest of my chores were spent singing and dancing crazily just like before.

When I finished I turned off my music and laid down on the couch admiring my work.Time goes by when you are busy and listening to music.My stomach growled causing me to giggle.I'll just order pizza.My phone was on 27% which is enough to make a quick order for a sausage and cheese pizza.Since it was just me, I only needed one pizza.I quickly made the call and they promised to be here in 30 minutes.I had enough time to take a quick shower.While running upstairs, my phone rang,I answered without checking.The voice I heard made me groan.

A-Avery L-Luke

"What Luke?"-A

"Can you please tell me what I did?"-L

"Like you don't know."-A I was not in the mood for this right now.

"Babe please.Can we talk about this?"-L

"Luke I have to go.The delivery man will be here soon and I need to shower."-A

"Okay please let me know when you're ready to talk."-L

"Okay bye."-A

With that being said I hung up and saw I had only 15 minutes until the pizza man would be here.I ran up to my bathroom and got in the shower.After the 5 minute shower, I quickly changed and answered the doorbell.Ha just in time.I opened it prepared to hand money to the pizza man, but instead Luke stood there with my pizza.I couldn't help but smirk."I uh paid for your pizza."He said while blushing.He wouldn't make eye contact with me.He was nervous.I could tell that because he unintentionally bit his lip ring.Which in all honesty was very attracting.I shook my head from the thought and sighed."Luke thank you but why are you here?"Truly I wasn't trying to be rude but I'm still hurt."Babe I want to fix my mistake.Please tell me what I did?"I frowned and took the pizza.He followed me into the kitchen and sat on the bar stool.

"Luke this morning when I woke up, I began to play with your hair.While doing so you...you"I paused."You said another girl's name.You said Victoria."His eyes grew wide and he cursed under his breath."Luke?"His eyes began to well up with tears.My reaction was to run up to him and hold him.He shook his head."I need to explain."He grabbed my hand and told me what had happened with his ex Victoria.He hasn't slept with another girl since.(Not like that.Well that too but I mean actually sleeping right here.)He stopped crying and looked at me.I felt bad for assuming."Luke I'm so sorry for what she did but also for thinking you were cheating.I've been hurt to many times and assumed before hearing you out.I'm sorry."He smiled."Sweetheart I would have done the same.It's okay."I kissed his cheek."Luke I would never do anything like that.I'd never hurt you like that either.I....I lo-I'm so glad to have you in my life."With that I crashed my lips onto his.His lips moved so perfectly with mine.Our lips mold together.My hand rests perfectly in his own.Yeah I love this boy right here.Sure I'm taking a big risk but it's worth it.

Luke's P.O.V

I swear it sounded like she was going to say she loved me right before we kissed.I know that I love her but, I don't think that now is the time to tell her.With everything that just happened,I'm cautious.I can't believe I said her fucking name.At least she understands."Babe do you want some?"I looked at to what she was pointing to and saw it was her pizza.I shrugged my shoulders and grabbed a slice.While she was chewing on a slice, I took in her beauty.Me being me, I did the first thing that popped into my head.She held the pizza to her mouth as I pushed her hand causing her to get pizza sauce all over her face."Luke!!" I just laughed and fell off the couch while clutching onto my stomach from laughing so hard.She stood up and stomped up and down playfully.I jumped up and pushed her against a wall.I began to lick off the pizza sauce and smirked at the way her breathing hitched when I licked her neck."Lu..kkee."Her voice trembled.When I pulled away she groaned causing me to chuckle."Let's watch a movie."She nodded and grabbed my hand.

I put in a horror movie and she grew excited."Oooh what movie?"I started to set up the movie."Uhm...Friday the 13th."She nodded and I sat down on the couch.She went to sit beside me but I placed my hands on her hips and pulled her onto my lap.She started to squirm to get comfortable causing mini Luke to get happy.She stopped what she was doing and slowly turned to face me."Uhm.....Luke?"I opened my eyes slowly."Yes?"She began to giggle while apologizing.I just blushed and placed a pillow over my face.She tried to pry it out of my grip."Luke it's okay.That's normal and I shouldn't have moved like that."I removed the pillow."Yeah but it's embarrassing.."She giggled and kissed me."It's fine now shut up.I want to watch this movie."I playfully frowned and held her to me.She was now laying beside me while cuddling up to me under a blanket that we were sharing.

She fell asleep mid-way through the movie.I carried her upstairs once my eyes began to close.I went to go home but she pulled me close to her."Don't go.Stay please."I nodded and took off my pants and shirt.Crawling next to her, I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her head.I was half-asleep."Good night Avery.I love you."

Avery's P.O.V

He just said the three words I've longed to hear him say.I wonder if he caught on earlier when I almost told him I loved him.Yeah maybe he did and he's just agreeing.He could never love me.I'm a mess.Though he still doesn't know one piece of my past.I don't know if I will ever tell him.No matter how much I love him I just can't tell him.He would see my flaws and leave.It's better to not let him know about that or the way I feel.So I should just pretend I didn't hear him.I closed my eyes and drifted off dreaming about a future of me and Luke.
