I have another story that pretty medieval and fantasy like. There, there is this empire called the Steel Empire and its nobility and royalty dress like those of the victorian era. I would love to have more references for that from you. That part of the world and their influence is yet to be developed in the story, so please help me. Let me give you some characteristic, they are very eclectic since they are like the biggest potency around, due to its strong military based on magic, mostly alchemy. They have this golem, like a piloted robot that fires magic blasts from their two huge magic rods from their backs as if cannons. Looks like huge medieval armors with glowing runic symbols mixed on the deco designs. Those are the stronghold of the empire, basically those are tanks that resist magic. Only knights, noble and royalty pilot them, they say they have the lineage of the legendary alchemist hero and his comrades.
The easy and luxury life had made them very cocky and arrogant. Nobody on the near kingdoms dares to confront them. Most near states are allies or subjugated nations. They are big producers and exporters on magic wands and magic rods, but the demand of monster wood is hindering their business so they are conquering the beastly forest to the south, where demihumans, (which they consider humanoid monsters and animals) lurks and inhabit in tribes. The forest at the north are far more dangerous since they are inhabited by elves and the like. The forest at the east are hard to obtain profit from it since they grow up above the canyon of the undead. Adventurers salaries needed to keep skeletons and zombies away from the workers would make it not that much profitable. To the west the adventurer emperor took all the wood from there to the empire in a try to negotiate. They are in good term with the theocracy and they have many churches of the freedom god on their territories. Both take demihumans as beast but theocracy is against to have them as slaves as its normal in the steel empire.
Their mining and milling operations are depredating the continent, their cities all have gangs and mafia, yet they live a luxurious and extravagant life. Their magic school is famous and need invitation to entry.
What would you add on it?
