The Torture

I walk through the hallway of my middle school with my best friend, Tessa. We have been friends since grade 1. She has always been there for me, and I have been there for her. Tessa is one of the most popular and prettiest girls in school. Everybody in the hall looks at us with caution so Tessa won't get mad and make one of them her victims. I love Tessa as a friend, I really do but she can be mean at times. I feel bad for the people she bullies, but if I say anything she will attack and I know, I am one of the weakest people on this earth.
"Get out of my way, fatty!" Tessa practically yells to one of the girls in our class. Tessa probably expects everyone to know her rules and worship her, but like that's going to happen anytime soon. The girl looks at me with jealousy in her eyes, probably a meaning to not take Tessa's friendship for granted. Once we reach our class, we take our seats at our usual spot. I spot Bethany in Cassandra's seat. Cassie is one of Tessa's minions. I give her the eye to back off and beware of danger. Tessa walks up to Beth with anger in her eyes. "Do you mind, that is not your seat. I warned you last class too but I see you didn't get the meaning." Says Tessa as calmly as she could. I tried to hide a smile. It's kind of funny to see Tess be THAT nice, she is taking it easy on Beth. I think it's because Beth is the strongest and most confident girl ever.
"Oops, I'm sorry. I didn't know you can reserve seats here. I'm sorry I got my COOTIES on your seat. I hope you don't mind, but I sat here first. If you wanted this seat, you should have came earlier." Says Beth. the first part makes me laugh at the amount of sarcasm she put into her answer. I can see Tess turning strawberry red. I can't believe that blonde with green eyes could get so mad and embarrassed from another girl. I can't help but smile. After Tessa calms down, we all separate in the classroom.

"I can't believe Beth talked back to you! Like, seriously, who does she think she is? I will NEVER sit in that chair again! She probably put boy germs on it." Says Cassie with her usual attitude in her voice. Cassie has also been a victim of Tess but its forgotten now. Cassie's long, red curly hair and grass green eyes has me amazed. She changed so much after joining us. I feel so bad for her. I don't know why but I just do. We start walking towards the cafeteria while Tess starts to complain again.
"I know right! She has no right to treat me like that! Does she know ANYTHING?" She stretched the last word. Beth is really smart, but Tess is trying to use that against her.
"I feel so bad for her that she doesn't know what awaits for her. she is in SO much trouble." I finally manage to speak up. Carmen (another minion) rolls her eyes.
"Nobody asked for YOUR opinion." she replies sharply while spitting 'your' like it has some kind of bad taste. I stay quiet. I am short compared to other girls. I have plain brown, straight hair with dark brown eyes. I feel like nothing extraordinary. We find OUR table and go to sit. I take the seat beside Cassandra because I know she likes my company but tries to hide it. I feel so mad at Tess for messing things up for EVERYONE. I spot Bethany sitting with her friend, Megan across the cafeteria.
"Look! There's Cole!" Tessa says dreamily. We all know she has a crush on him for ages! We try to push her to get a relationship but she says to wait a little longer. I try looking at the kids beside Cole, looking for a certain face. My heart does a mini jump. I see him. Cassie nudges me.
"Stop staring, if your stare was a laser you would have killed Colton multiple times by now." After hearing his name, I blush. I had this thing for him since grade 5, and it only gets stronger. They walk towards us, the usual. I catch Colton looking at me with sadness in his eyes.
