This curious cat
Of purple and black
The most intriguing cat
To cross my path
She cares for her trees
Their branches and leaves,
She loves her dear trees
Of that I can see
She collects blank books
Hidden away in a nook
She loves all her books
How they feel and their looks
She listens to the earth
Feels merriment and mirth
She loves the very earth
And understands its worth
She hoards away skulls
With thick bone hulls
She decorates with skulls
And her den's never dull
She adores every plant
How they seem to enchant
She lives amongst the plants
Her love is never scant
She lives for the night
For every little fright
If she finds you in the night
Don't put up a fight
Her fur is tangled yet it still shines
I can always see the stars in her eyes
Of all of the chests,
on which her head could lie
I'm never happier,
than when she chooses mine
