__________Asui POV__________

    Well, that was strange... I thought to myself as I checked out of the department store with my new dress. Now standing in the check out line I thought about how quickly Uraraka had run from the changing room; thinking about it now, I didn't even know where she had went, or what store she'd even been talking about. As I stepped up to buy my items, I realized that because my friend had run off like that, she hadn't been able to get anything for herself. I kind of wished I'd had enough money to buy her something, but unfortunately, I didn't. Sighing, I carried my bags and walked out of the department store, scanning the crowded mall for Ochaco. She had been acting really strange around me recently, it's kinda cute... I pondered to myself.

    "Oh, hi again Tsu!" A cheery voice cut into my thoughts. As I turned around I found Uraraka jogging over to me.

    "Hello, Ochaco. Did you find that store you were talking about?" I asked putting my finger up to my face. She looked a bit confused for a moment before replying.

    "Oh, uh... Yeah! I did!" She said while rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. A few moments of silence passed between us. "So... do you want to go walk around the mall some more?" She offered.

    "Sure," I replied, and we began walking around the giant mall. As we went down the escalator to the first floor, I couldn't help but notice what looked like a green-haired boy, sitting on a bench next to some other guy with a black hoodie. Is that... Izuku? I wondered. But as soon as we reached the spot where I thought I'd seen the two, it was like they'd vanished. Strange...

    "I could have sworn I saw Midoriya just now," I muttered, as Uraraka and I continued exploring the mall.

__________Tomura POV__________

    After that boy and I finished eating, I dejectedly realized that if I didn't return to base soon, I'd have to sit through another one of Kurogiri's lectures. Groaning internally, I moved from my seat and reluctantly let go of the future hero's hand.

    "Huh?" He voiced his confusion, as I began walking away. I turned my head back to the greenette and saw him looking back at me with a cute expression on his face, his adorable freckles dotting his face, and his wide, green eyes staring back at me.

    "I'm leaving," I stated, diverting my eyes from the boy's face. "Oh, and here's a little word of advice friend; be careful, the next time we meet I'll likely have to kill you." I warned, as I walked out of the restaurant and disappeared into the crowds of the mall.

Walking down a nearby alleyway, I thought about Stain again. His words; what meaning is there to killing if you don't have real convictions? He'd said to me.

I smiled to myself.

    I had convictions and ideals from the beginning Hero Killer. I just didn't know... nothing has changed. I thought as I walked down the alley, my hands in my pockets, and my shoes smacking against the cold pavement with each step. The only real difference is, now I know what I'm working toward; to create a world without All Might, and to prove how fragile society's sense of safety really is. That's what drives me. From this day forward I will call it my conviction... I promised to myself.

    Everything is All Might's fault!

Even that boy, Midoriya, was becoming a hero because of All Might. He looked up to that pro because he was the symbol of peace, the number one hero, and like everybody else, it was what fueled the boy and gave him this stupid sense that he could do anything. It's so annoying...

In all honesty, I'd had the boy on my mind ever since our attack on U.A, but only now I was starting to resent my constant thoughts of him. When I'd first seen him during the attack, I dismissed him as just another brat, but then he attempted to attack me by using his quirk when the Nomu took the blow. Ever since then I'd started to noticed his quirk's resemblance to All Might's, meaning I only ever saw him as an enemy. When I saw him during the Sports Festival I thought I was just keeping a close watch on him because of that, because I saw him as an enemy. But now, as I thought back to our little talk just a few minutes earlier, I couldn't help but notice his sincerity, his honesty; when I asked him questions he answered with what he truly thought, not just some made-up response to satisfy me. He's so innocent... I realized bitterly. I just couldn't manage to get these thoughts of that kid out of my head. I always thought he was just going to be another obstacle to overcome, but now it was like I was holding something over him that wasn't exactly hate, but not exactly a fondness either...

Growling to myself, I quickened my pace as I neared the bar. Despite my confused thoughts on Midoriya, I didn't doubt he would report me to the police as soon as possible.

I NEVER expected any of my stories to get this many reads, and it really means a lot to me!!!

Currently, I'm starting to write a manga and another short story on the side so hearing that people enjoy my writing is amazing!!!

Anyways, hope y'all enjoyed this chapter! It was kind of short, and probably a bit boring, but I've got some good stuff planned for the next chapter!

Also, I know Tomura's internal dialogue might have been a bit difficult to follow buuuut just to clarify, all you need to know is that

1) Tomura thinks about Izuku A LOT

and 2) Tomura is confused on how to view Izuku because he wants to hate him because of All Might buuuuut he also has other feels towards the boy that he can't quite explain

In the anime, I always thought it was funny how Tomura was not only watching Izuku during the sports festival but he also kept a picture of him!(which was part of the reason I started shipping them uwu) Because of this, I always assumed Tomura was thinking about Izuku quite a bit(idk if any of y'all came to the same conclusion, this was just when I got my first ideas for this fanfic)

And to all you Overhaul lovers(like me), do not worry!! I shall introduce Overhaul into this soon!!!

BTW I KNOW THESE AUTHORS NOTES ARE REALLY LONG I AM SOOORRY IF THEY ARE ANNOYING(I just see them as nessecary to thank my readers, and clarify certain things in a chapter, u do not need to read them, buuut if you're ever confused on something in a chapter they could be helpful)
