The girls walked back to the Turner house and they hid to avoid been spotted. They heard Wanda and Ricky talking.
"I told the girls not to enter the Conner house." Wanda spoke and Ricky added, "I tell you Fairywinkle, some strange things have happened since I wrote about the house."
He explained to Wanda that several days ago, he wrote pieces of the story then this week, he found the story in the correct order and it made much sense then before.
"I hope the girls don't find what's in the back door," Wanda said in a worried tone. After the conversation, Wanda went inside the house while Ricky went to his house.
The girls walked back to the Conner House and they saw the back door.
"Look it says Richard and Fairywinkle," Chloe said. The girls came up with theories about what 'Richard and Fairywinkle meant.
They heard footsteps and they screamed when Ricky showed up.
"What are you all doing here?!" Ricky asked. "Careful there's a ghost playing the violin!" Chloe warned.
"Were you the ones who messed with the rose and shawl?!" Ricky asked and Tootie facepalmed after knowing what the props were for.
