"Who is she, Jinyoung?" a voice called behind me.
I turned around to meet Jaebum's eyes.
"I...I t-thought you left..." I said, my voice cracking.
"I did," he stated. "But you didn't come inside so I came looking for you. Who is that girl?"
"She's...she's no one," I lied.
"She has to be someone to make you so angry like that," Jaebum observed. "I've had enough of your lies, Jinyoung. I know we're not together anymore, but—"
I cut Jaebum off by embracing him in a hug. He held me close to him, my tears dampening his shirt.
"I'm sorry," I whispered.
"I don't get it, Jinyoung," Jaebum said, lifting my chin up to meet his eyes.
"W-what do you mean?" I asked him, wiping the tears away.
"You friend-zone me when I confess to you, you get jealous of me having other friends, you then later confess to me, then you break us off, and now some weird girl is talking to you and you don't even tell me who she is. Make up your damn mind."
Jaebum began walking away when I grabbed his hand.
"No," I said to him as he met my gaze. "P-please. D-don't go."
Jaebum turned around. There was hurt in his eyes and I could tell he'd rather not be around me right now. But he gave in.
He walked towards me and held my hands in his, pecking my cheek.
"I'm not going anywhere, Jinyoung," he said to me, looking directly in my eyes. "But it seems like you're the one who wants to leave. Decide what you want first."
He gave a me a quick but warm kiss on the lips before he walked off again.
