Chapter 18

After a few months, Rayla is ready to give birth to her first child. The doctors came in and they asked Callum to assist the birth. Callum is way more nervous than his wife, Rayla. He is moving around the room. Rayla noticed that he is nervous and she started to get nervous too. it wasn't her style to get nervous, but this baby is her first child. 
Rayla: Callum, stop walking around. You are making me nervous.
Callum: Sorry, I am so sorry.
Rayla: Ahhh!! It hurts. I can't wait to get this thing off me. 

Callum: That thing is our child, babe.

Rayla: You are not helping me, Callum.

Callum: Oh yeah, sorry. 

Callum is standing next to his wife. The doctor and the nurse to help her. 

Doctor: Now push.
Rayla pushed and pushed and the baby was born. The doctor took the baby and cleaned it. The baby has breathing problems. Rayla and Callum are so scared. The doctor is trying to save the baby. 

Meanwhile 

At Rayla and Callum

Rayla: I am so scared Callum. What if she is in danger?

Callum: Hey, it's okay. The baby will be fine. 

The doctor came and reassured them, telling them that their baby is fine. 

He placed the little girl in Rayla's arms.
The little girl has her father's skin and hair and her mother's horns and eyes.
Rayla: She's so cute. We will name her Avery. It's okay with you, Callum?
Callum: I think it will suit her perfectly. I can't believe I have a girl. * cries*

Ezran finally finished his job for today. He was ready to meet the child. 

He saw her. He was amazed to see her. His niece is so adorable and cute. 

Ezran: She is so cute, she is the greatest baby I have ever seen.

Callum: Can I hold her too ? It's my baby after all. 

Ezran: Of course, brother. 

He gave the baby to his brother. 

Callum: Hello, my little sunshine. 

Rayla fell asleep and Callum and Ezran talked about how sweet and adorable Avery is.
