Callum's point of view
I looked for her days and days. She is nowhere to be found. I started to lose hope. I will never find her again. I lost my wife and my child. I am a terrible husband.
I am crying on a rock. It is all in vain. All the searchers, everything. If only magic could help me, but I only know primordial magic.
Ezran came to me.
Ezran: Callum, we are going to find Rayla. I am sure that she and the baby are just fine.
Callum: Where is she Ezran? Where is she? * I say desperate. I feel how despair takes control of me.*
Ezran hugs me. He is a great brother and he wants me to be happy and hopeful but I can't. I lost so many people in my life.
Callum: Ez, I can't lose Rayla too.
Ezran: I promise you won't. You are strong and we are not giving up until we find her.
We are a team, are we?
Callum: Yes, Ezran, we are the greatest team.
We look in the woods, we didn't find her there. Then, Ezran and I looked for her in the Banther lodge.
I saw blood on the stairs.
Callum: Rayla!! * I yelled.
No answer. I rushed upstairs and I saw her on the floor.
Viren escaped from the dungeon and kidnapped her.
Viren: King Ezran, you and your brother will pay for your father's mistakes.
Callum: No, we won't.
Viren: As your wish.
I took Rayla in my arms. Viren came behind us, but Ezran saved us.
The guards came and took Rayla.
One guard: Don't worry, they will be fine.
I am devastated. What if something bad happened to her.
Ezran came to me and hugged me.
Ezran: Callum, you need to rest, Rayla will be fine and the babies too.
Callum: No, I won't rest until I will get an answer.
Ezran: As your brother, I ask you to go to sleep and I will stay to wait. When I get an answer, you will be the first one to now.
Callum: Ez, please. I already lost many people in my life, I can't lose Rayla too.
Ezran: I understand. You are afraid, I am afraid too. Rayla has been like a mother to me and I will always consider her like this.
The Doctor: Rayla is fine and the baby is also fine. You can visit Rayla, but let her sleep.
Ezran: Go to her. I will go to my room.
Callum's point of view,
I walk into the room. I saw Rayla sleeping. Her tummy was bigger, but maybe that's how elf pregnancy works.
I run my fingers through her hair and with the other hand I touched her belly. Our child. The first elf-human child.
Rayla: Where am I?
Callum: Home, We going you, I thought you are dead.
Rayla: We are fine, Callum. The baby is fine.
Callum: Does elf pregnancy makes your tummy bigger than human pregnancy?
Rayla: Yes, we are different species, after all, so we don't know yet.
Callum: Good.
Rayla: Let's sleep, I bet you had a hard day.
Callum: Yes.
I kissed her on the lips, I missed her kisses so bad.
