Chapter Three

Silverpelt got up, "Why are you here?" She questioned. Kestrelflight stood there, pinning Goldenfur. Spiralriver stood where she was. Not moving one bit, not knowing how protective Kestrelflight could be. Slightly afraid that he would kill her, she highly doubted it but she didn't move. Silverpelt nuzzled Kestrelflight, "Why are both of you here?" Kestrelflight relaxed a bit. "Yeah." Spiralriver hisses. "Because you two shouldn't be together!" Silverpelt hissed, "Starclan allows us!" Spiralriver hissed then took a challenging step forward to Silverpelt. "Since when?" Kestrelflight then jumped in front of Silverpelt. "The clouds aren't covering anything, there isn't any storm. So be careful what you say." Silverpelt moaned, she felt another kick, "Just... Leave..." She pleaded. Spiralriver's eyes widened. "You're pregnant!" She gasped. Kestrelflight then snarled. "So what?! LEAVE!" He snarled loudly. Spiralriver then backed away behind Goldenfur. Silverpelt regained posture, "And what is your excuse Goldenfur?" Goldenfur thought quickly, "She ummm she told me to come here!" She lied gesturing to Spiralriver. Spiralriver hissed. "Oh shut up you mangy fur ball!!!!" She cuffed her ear. "You're the one that thought of the idea," She mewed. "That didn't go the way you wanted." She finished. "The original plan was going to spy on you. But it didn't work because I forgot to disguise my scent." She growled. "And if Goldenfur did the same thing, she still could've spied, but no. She didn't." She hissed. Kestrelflight growled protectively. "What have you come to?" He asked his sister. "You never used to be like this..." He had mewed recalling memories. Silverpelt sighed as the kit kicked lightly, "You too." She flicked her tail to Goldenfur, before angrily flicking it over Spiralriver's muzzle, "Keep quiet, please." She growled. Spiralriver sat down. "I am sorry...." She apologized. She looked up with sorrow and pain in her eyes. "It's just not fair..." She mewed. Tears started to stream down her cheek. "Acornleap isn't the father of my kits..." She confessed. "He loved me though, and I seen him as a friend....but its a tom from her clan..." She said as more tears came down. "I-I never meant to..." She said while quietly crying. "Im so sorry Kestrelflight." Kestrelflight froze as he saw sorrow and pain in his sister's eyes. "Its fine Spiralriver, I forgive you." He said as he listened to her. "I know its not fair- he isn't?" He asked as he heard her say that. He then looked at Silverpelt. "Who?" He asked looking back at Spiralriver. "Hey...hey..." He said as he walked over to his sister and sat beside her. He put his head under her chin, hugging her. He wiped the tears with his tail. "Its going to be okay." He said quietly while hugging her. Silverpelt froze aswell, "Whats his name?" She asked, Goldenfur started to back away to tell the clan of Silverpelt's betrayel. Kestrelflight seen Goldenfur and hissed. "You tell one word about this and ill make sure you wont live to see the next gathering." He said walking over to her, his shoulders now bigger than what they looked like after he strengthened himself. He now towered over her, his muscles rippling underneath his pelt. "It was Snow something." Spiralriver said as more tears streamed down. "I-I cant think of it right now..." She said to the shecat. "Was it Snowfrost?" Silverpelt asked while glaring at Goldenfur, who gulped and slowly nodded. "Yes.." Spiralriver then flinched at the name as she heard it. "Yes..." She looked at the ground as she lowered herself to the ground. Kestrelflight growled warningly. "Im being serious, I will find you and kill you if you say anything. I don't care where you are or what youre doing, I will make sure you will die if you say anything." He fluffed out his fur. "He's the deputy," Silverpelt froze carefully as her heart became faster. Goldenfur nodded, "O-ok." She stated with fright in her tone. Kestrelflight then nodded. "Good. Now go on. Act normal, report that things are normal so that they don't suspect anything." He said then walked back over hearing 'he's the deputy.' "Who is?" He asked not knowing what happened after he left to threaten Goldenfur. Spiralriver sighed. "Snowfrost is...the one that did this...I don't think he meant to but I don't know for sure..." She said sadly. Silverpelt nodded, "Snowfrost is the deputy." She nuzzled him passionately. Spiralriver just laid there. "Wow..." Kestrelflight shook out his fur and shook his head. He nuzzled her back passionately. "Who would be deputy and do that?" He asked out loud, to no one in particular. Silverpelt shrugged. "I really don't know." She sighed, "Im sorry about this, Spiralriver, its not like Snowfrost to do this." "Its okay I guess...I kind of don't mind having his kits...he is strong, wise and fast... so maybe my kits will be too." Spiralriver thought on the bright side. "Ill help you through this, sister." Kestrelflight vowed. "Ill be the uncle and help." He nodded to his sister. Silverpelt giggled with a lick between his ears. Kestrelflight smiled and nuzzled.

Spiralriver shook out her pelt. "So is this where we are all gonna meet up every day now?" Silverpelt nodded with a smile. "I'm glad we're mates." She nuzzled him again. Kestrelflight smiled. "I am as well." He purred. "Have you thought of some names?" He asked his mate. Spiralriver laid down and wrapped her tail around her big belly. "What if we get caught by Reedstar, Kestrelflight?" She asked him. Kestrelflight shivered. "I know how he is, he'll kill if anyone disobeys his rules." He mewed to her. Silverpelts eyes narrowed. "They'd kill you?" She slowly whimpered. Spiralriver nodded. "Yes if he finds out that we disobeyed him, he wont hesitate to kill us." Spiralriver scooted closer to Kestrelflight "He wasn't always like this, I think he went insane at the last gathering." She mewed and shivered once again. Kestrelflight agreed. "Yeah, ever since you're leader claimed an unmarked territory, he has always been rambling on about it and being creepy." He said as he licked behind his mates ear. "But don't worry, I wont let anything happen." He had promised. Silverpelt blushed crimson and smiled, "Stay safe." She thought for a second, "I do have a few names in mind!" Kestrelflight  chuckled and nodded, "Well tell me silly!!" Silverpelt giggled, "I'm not sure how they'll look, but I have 3 names. Shimmerkit, Stormkit, and Dovekit, How are those?" Kestrelflight purred. "They are lovely. How many moons until you're due? How many do you think you'll have?" He asked her. Spiralriver huffed as she felt a pain shoot through her. "I don't know how many I'll have..." She said through gritted teeth as another wave coursed through her,  she whined loudly. Silverpelt felt strong sympathy. "I'm sorry, maybe you should lie down a little." She smiled weakly. "I'm not sure, I think about 9." Spiralriver laid down and shook her pelt softly. "I might be having them now...I need to get back to the clan." She said, "Someone in our clan likes me to where he'll do anything for me so, he'll say they are his kits so i don't get murdered." She mewed as she got up slowly and she walked away toward her clan. Kestrelflight nodded and yowled after her. "Please be careful!" He said over his shoulder and nuzzled his mate. "That's wonderful!" He purred and licked her neck fur. Silverpelt purred with a smile, "I can't wait." She nuzzled back. Kestrelflight nodded and laid his massive head gently on her back as he curled around her. "I love you." Silverpelt smiled as she licked him silently. "I love you too," She lowered her head. "I thought of something," She smiled. "But it won't work." Kestrelflight tilted his head, confused, but willing to listen. "What's up?" He asked her, interested. "It's to silly," She paused, "We could make our OWN clan!" She giggled cutely. "I know a lot of cats in my clan that would come along with us! Queens, and elders including!" Kestrelflight nodded. Silverpelt squeaked in excitement, "PERFECT!!" "What about your clan? We should have Spiralriver's father of her kits come as well. If its possible? I can tell she likes him." Kestrelfight had mewed and rubbed his head along her neck. Silverpelt blushes velvet and smiled, "There are a few cats i can think of." She licked him between his ears. Kestrelflight nodded. "Alright. Well you head back to your clan and meet back here with everyone. I'll be back as well." He mewed and licked her a bit before getting up and walking towards his clan, his heart in pain for having to leave her. Silverpelt slowly walked to her clan and came back with a few cats. Kestrelflight took a bit longer as he had a huge group that would join.

"Spiralriver go get the medicine cat, I know he will want to come." He mewed to her and she dashed off slowly and carefully. "Reedstar, we are going on a BIG hunt to catch all the prey we can. Stay here maybe? Watch over the clan." The leader just narrowed his eyes and nodded. Kestrelflight came back to the clearing with at least 12 cats, if not more. He stopped and mewed, "This is my mate Silverpelt.  She is going to have kits as well as Spiralriver." He said as he flicked his tail to each queen. Silverpelt lowered her head in respect to all the cats. "Hello to you all." She greeted. ( ME: I'll reply once i get to school) (Jenny: got it) (me: K back) The cats murmuyred as they look at Silverpelt. "You didn't say that we were joining some other clan!!" A cat called out.
"No, I didn't. Because we aren't, we are making our OWN clan! We need to decide on a leader as well as a deputy." He called out to all the cats that were here. Silverpelt stood straight, she sat near Kestrelflight. "Yeah, we'll give you a few minutes to decide." 
The group of cats split up into smaller groups with their family and friends. One group of silver tabbies and brown tabbies came up to them. "We are in." They said all at once as they decided they were going to join. Then one after another from group to group, they all decided that they would join.
Kestrelflight nodded. "Alright! So we need to decided on whether or not who is going to be leader and deputy. I would say one cat from each clan." He suggested. Spiralriver stepped forward, "May i be nominated for deputy?" She asked all the cats that were around her. She was scared everyone was going to reject her. Kestrelflight looked to the group from each clan. "Well?" He asked the group. 
The group of cats discussed within themselves and ended up making a decision. "Well you can be yes, we have decided from our clan that Spiralriver or Sunray would be a good deputy. But since you are pregnant, Spiralriver, Sunray can take your place until then if you are willing." Said a cat from the back of the crowd, as it was speakin it moved forward and it turned out to be Winterstorm.
Kestrelflight agreed as Winterstorm was correct. "That is acutally true, yes. Spiralriver, you are due any time now." He flick his tail toward his sister. Spiralriver nodded. "i.i know..." She mewed. Stonefang, the medicine cat, walked up to Spiralriver and nudged her gently. "You will need to lay off the duties even with warrior duties a bit. You need to rest and if we are going to get moving, we have to now." Stonefang had said to every cat. "As Spiralriver could give birth any time right now." Spiralriver nodded and looked around as she got up and stretched very carefully. Sunray padded over to Spiralriver and nudged her, "It's okay I can help you travel." He had said. "I will always be there for you." The tom said as he had her lean on his shoulder.
