Pain

Pain slowly removed you from your crib, holding your tiny form to his chest, yours sobs drenching his cloak but he did not seem to care. His face resembled a very dark and intense look, his gaze hard but his hold gentle. "Y/n," he whispered, pulling you closer to his face.

Your sobbing seemed to halt momentarily under the powerful stare your father gave you. "Go to sleep." He slowly lowered you back down into the crib, his forefinger gently caressing the side of your face before lifting the little blanket back over you. "Goodnight, sweet child."

Konan

"It's your bedtime, y/n," Konan whispered, lifting you from the ground of the Akatsuki base den. Tobi groaned and complained that he wasn't done playing with you, but Konan ignored him, bringing her child back to her room to lay them in bed. She put you back in your crib and tucked you under your blanket, but noticed right away that you were not falling asleep. You only looked up at her with bright adoring eyes, curious about your mother and wanting more of her attention.

A glowing smile appeared on your face as you giggled lightly. Konan couldn't help but smile back and pinch your cheeks a little. "If I sing to you, will you go to sleep?" she hummed. She began to sing a song from her childhood; you watched your mother with awe before her gentle voice put you to sleep.

Tobi

"Tobi! You are bouncing them too hard, they won't fall asleep like that." Deidara cursed himself for being so invested in Tobi's parenting. At first, he really wasn't. He thought you were too noisy and loud, just like your father, though he knew very well you were a baby. But as he watched from afar as Tobi struggled to get you to sleep, he couldn't help but get involved anymore. Tobi's methods of bouncing you were in no way gentle but borderline dangerous -- he was practically throwing you up in the air and your head was coming dangerously close to the ceiling, and he was coming close to dropping you.

"Y/n! Y/n, please go to sleep, daddy's really, really tired," Tobi stressed. Groaning, Deidara grabbed Tobi by the shoulders, halting him from tossing you in the air. Deidara instructed Tobi to hold you in a more comfortable position with you cradled to his chest, head resting just upon his beating heart. "Try not to yell in their ear for one. And you can't throw them around, that might hurt 'em, hm. Gently bounce them and speak calmly. I'm sure they'll start to fall asleep."

"You sure know a lot about babies, senpai! Do you have a y/n of your own?" Deidara scoffed walking off, leaving you in the care of your father. Tobi took what Deidara said to heart, and tried his best to do what he was instructed. He squeed when it worked, the gentle bouncing and quiet atmosphere lulling you to sleep. "Y/n is such a good child! I love my y/n!"

Uchiha Itachi

The rumbling of his chest was soothing as he gently coaxed you to sleep, humming a song his mother once hummed to him when he was a young child and unable to sleep. He held you close to him as he walked around the room, bouncing you lightly in a cradled position. Kisame stood at the other side of the room watching intently. He had been called in by Itachi, who for a rare moment, seemed anxious and of sure of what to do.

"Do you still need me?" He asked. Itachi shook his head, that being the only answer his partner needed to leave. Itachi grinned as your eyes slowly fell shut and he lowered you back into your small crib. "You are a good child," he quietly praises, playing with the little strands of hair at the top of your head, and pulling the blanket over your body. He falls into a routine of watching you sleep, watching over you, and making sure no harm comes to you.

Hoshigaki Kisame

"Oh... oh no." Previous nights, you hadn't been so difficult to get to sleep. But this night you seemed to be in a foul mood, and all Kisame could seem to do was stare down at you in your crib as you sobbed your little heart out. The ear-piercing screams were painful, and he cringed at a particular scream that had his ears ringing.
