it was a beautiful christmas morning. 

the tokyo squad was currently at the main house. kuroo, iwaizumi, and suga were all making food in the kitchen while the others were in the living room, playing video games.

snow was falling down from the sky, the fireplace was lit and the whole group was cuddled up.

"i don't want to do anything today," oikawa said.

"well, you're lucky because today is our day off," iwaizumi yelled from the kitchen.

the rest laughed while oikawa gave his boyfriend a pout. they weren't really doing anything since it was christmas day and they just wanted to hang out with each other and chill.

kuroo went outside, taking a cigarette and lighting it up. "i thought you quit smoking?" a voice said, with a tint of amusement.

kuroo smiled and blew smoke out of his mouth. "you know i was never addicted, oikawa."

oikawa let out a small laugh and stood next to him. "wanted to get out of the crowd?"

kuroo shrugged. "just wanted to clear my mind,"

oikawa and kuroo have a weird friendship. one minute they can be joking about dicks and two seconds later, they can be talking about really serious things. the two best friends stayed quiet for a few minutes until oikawa talked. "so, what are you gonna do about your little crush?"

"oh shut up, tooru." laughed kuroo.

oikawa laughed and smiled at his best friend. "what? come on, kuroo, it's so obvious that you like kenma and i personally say just go for it," he then took a sip of his hot chocolate. "that's what i did with iwa-chan."

kuroo rolled his eyes. "you and iwaizumi hooked up when you both were drunk and didn't talk to each other for two weeks since both of you were freaking out. that's how you guys started dating,"

oikawa scoffed at his best friend and turned his head away, embarrassed. "okay and your point is? me and iwa-chan are at least dating."

"yeah and it's been chaotic as fuck."

"just wait until nana and teru start dating. that's gonna be scary," oikawa laughed.

"you're going to be waiting for a while because those two are dumb and oblivious,"

"says you," oikawa comments, causing kuroo to bump his hip against oikawa's. the two started laughing until someone opened the balcony door.

"are you two gonna come inside? it's freezing out here," nana asked the two.

the two looked at each other and started to laugh again, making nana stand there confused as hell. "we're coming," kuroo answered back.

"what were you two talking about?"

"akaashi and bokuto," lied oikawa.

nana knew he was lying but shrugged it off and went along with it. "what about them?"

"how they have been dragging their relationship and feelings since like, forever." kuroo sighed as he closed the balcony door.

"just give them time, kuroo, just give them time."

but what kuroo said was true. it's weird how the whole group knows that they both like each other but akaashi and bokuto have no clue about each other's feelings towards one another.

yeah, nana and terushima are also a drag but akaashi and bokuto were something else. the sexual tension between the two drove the others insane at times, especially since they're living in the same house now.
