"kenma, can we please go to their house?" lev begged for the fifth time. 

kenma sighed and took off his headset. he was in the middle of editing a video that he was going to upload tomorrow. lev wouldn't stop bothering him about going over to the tokyo house.

"lev, we saw them last week and besides, kageyama and hinata are visiting later,"

"you're no fun,"

"go do something productive,"

lev put his head down and pouted at kenma. "so, are you and kuroo-san dating?"

kenma flicked lev's forehead, making the russian let out a yelp. "for the last time, we are not dating."

"mhm, sure,"

kenma grabbed the closet thing to him and threw it right at lev, who let a yelp. he went back to editing and about an hour later, was done.

kenma got up from his workspace and decided to go get a drink from the fridge. the pudding head was so focused on this work that he didn't notice that kuroo texted him around thirty minutes ago.

kenma rolled his eyes and smiled. he grabbed a juice box from the fridge and went back to his room, where lev was playing with pie. "i guess it's your lucky day, we're going over to the tokyo house later,"

"ooo, why all of a sudden?"

kenma shrugged and flopped on his chair. "apparently iwaizumi wants to talk to us about something,"

"he probably gonna tell us he's proposing to oikawa," joked lev.

the two got to the tokyo house, here nana and akaashi were in the kitchen, terushima was on the couch with iwaizumi and kuroo, while bokuto looked like he just woke up from a three year nap.

"yo," said kuroo, waving his hand at them.

"what's going on?"

"um, i kinda need your guys help," mumbled iwaizumi.

nana rested her elbows on the kitchen island. "what's up iwaizumi? you seem kinda nervous,"

"um, so you guys know how it's oikawa's birthday next week, right?" they all nodded. "i want to surprise him with a party,"

both nana and kuroo let out a relieved sigh. "oh my god, thank god it's just that," said nana. "i thought you were fucking proposing to him,"

iwaizumi looked over at nana and then looked away, making nana's eye widen and she slammed her hands on the kitchen counter. "no fucking way— iwaizumi, are actually thinking about it? holy fucking shit!"

"i-i'm thinking about it," he nervously said.

they all stared at their best friend, fucking speechless.

"i— iwaizumi, are you actually deadass?" akaashi asked.

"yeah, i am,"

"wait, wait, wait, are you planning on proposing on his birthday?" kenma asks.

iwaizumi shook his head. "nah, guys, chill. i'm not going to be proposing anytime soon, i just thought about it,"

nana ran up to iwaizumi and gave him a hug. "ahh i'm so happy!"

iwaizumi hugged the blonde back, laughing. "why do you seem more excited than me?"

bokuto smirked. "cause nana got you guys together,"

"all my hard work paid off! let's goooo!"

well, iwaizumi would be slightly lying if he said nana didn't get them together. after the two hooked up at a party and were ignoring each other, nana set them up at a cafe so they can talk it out.

and ever since then, the two have been happily together. yeah, there were some rough fights here and there but that's the normal parts of a relationship.

there was some harassment, considering how public their relationship has become in the past two years but iwaizumi would ignore it. oikawa would too but sometimes it just gets to him. iwaizumi doesn't know how many times oikawa cried himself to sleep cause of all the homophobic comments.

but i guess you could say oikawa was used to it. people were questioning his sexuality in middle school and he was then outed in high school by a guy he hooked up with. oikawa didn't really care though, he didn't care if people would whisper about him when he passed by them in the hallway or when he walked into class.

and the guy that outed him? yeah, he got beaten up by oikawa himself. oikawa, kuroo, and terushima were all troublemakers in high school. although the three were in college prep classes, that didn't stop them from getting into fights, skipping class to smoke or get food, talking back to teachers.

they had all individual problems.

oikawa would run his mouth at anyone who is talking shit about his friends. he wouldn't care if it was about him but if it was about any teammates or close friends, it was game over.

terushima was always getting into fights and would probably fight a teacher if nobody stopped him since it did almost happened once. insult him or a friend, you're basically asking for a beating. he was also intimidating, with his dyed hair and piercings.

kuroo would always skip class yet still remained one of the top students in the grade. he would go to the rooftop when he skips, to sleep, smoke, or just chill there. surprisingly, for the three years he has been doing that, he was never caught by a teacher.

and ironically enough, the three had the best test scores in the school and broke the record.
