ALRIGHT HERE IS ME TRYING MY BEST TO EXPLAIN KUROAKA'S AND BOKUAKA'S RELATIONSHIP IN THIS STORY LMFAO

so kuroo and akaashi dated for around 8 months to a year back in their first year of university (they're the same age in this fanfic)

around when kuroo first met kenma, him and akaashi were (i guess?) hooking up with each other because akaashi wanted to take his mind off of bokuto. so he used kuroo as a distraction (and kuroo knew)

when kuroo started liking kenma, him and akaashi were still somewhat hooking up, using each other as distractions but they then stopped

i know the whole relationship seemed problematic but i thought it would be interesting

ANYWAYS

NOW TO BOKUTO AND AKAASHI

so bokuto and nana had this on and off friends with benefits relationship for almost six months and it started around the end of university to the time they moved in together

at first it was because they shared a kiss (caught up in the moment) and this resulted in a two to three months fwb relationship during university

then bokuto started to like akaashi at this time so nana backed off yk?

after moving in with each other, he started to feel guilty for liking him (because him and kuroo dated) so he needed something to keep his mind off of things

while nana was bored and wanted to hook up with someone since she got cheated on and denied her feelings for terushima

their second fwb relationship started after a one night stand where akaashi and kuroo were gone for the night at iwaoi's place. so bokuto and nana decided to drink together, thus eventually having a one night stand

and this lasted for ehh like one to two months

but after ending it, fast forward to almost a year later (a month before they met kenma) bokuto and akaashi had this awkward drunken confession

and this was the start of akaashi and kuroo's fling

but after kuroaka ended it OFFICIALLY, akaashi became more comfortable and flirty with bokuto, vice versa

hence why the group calls them the unofficial official couple all the time because although they didn't have a label, they acted like they were dating

and then during the two year time skip, the two are now actually dating but the group still calls them the unofficial official couple since it took them literally so fucking long to get together

but yeah,,,,

I KNOW ITS KINDA PROBLEMATIC BUT ALL PARTIES WERE FINE WITH IT AND THERE WAS NO ACTUAL DRAMA BETWEEN THE FOUR FRIENDS

BECAUSE IT WOULD BE KINDA AWKWARD IF THERE WAS SINCE THEY ALL LIVE TOGETHER

the whole group knows about this and they're all comfortable with joking about it !

for example: if nana and bokuto are arguing, bokuto will be like "you say that but you like my dick huh?" just to piss her off

another is if kuroo and kenma are joking around, kenma would say the lines of "go make out with akaashi"

AGAIN, NONE OF THEIR BOYFRIENDS CARE

TERUSHIMA AND KENMA HONESTLY LOVES TO JOKE ABOUT IT

while akaashi and bokuto uses it against each other👍
