A couple of teens relax in a house looking around as they see the dead roam the streets. Takashi sat on the bed watching the tv of a live footage of the bridge trying to leave the 20th ward. "Man this is bad well at least every got here and the girls are showering.. I think ghouls are behind this." The brown haired teen held his head in frustration remembering when he and his group escaped the school flesh getting ripped off the body. Kouta fixes his glasses looking at the other boy then back at the weapons on the floor "I don't think it's them. If it was they would be using their kagunes. Then why would they die remember we saw one luckily it was dying."

The boys stay quiet in the room till Shizuka comes behind Takashi wrapping her arms around him startling him. "Hey~~ can I have fun with you just for a little bit~." His eyes widen seeing her hands trying to get into his pants making him push her away. "Are you drunk ??" Till he pushed her away making his hand push her boobs making her moan they boys watched her sit on the bed with just a towel on.

Kaneki and hide make their way around the street till they find a place. The ghoul breaks a door down making his way towards the lights turning them on "Kaneki how are we going to survive how are you gonna eat?" The ghoul turned around realizing he's good for a month but if his hunger acts up what is he going to do. Hide walks in seeing pictures of a family while the ghoul looked around "they fled but I don't think they made it far."

They hear moans coming from the street seeing some dead walking around which made the one eyed ghoul look to see the gate was intact which made him ease up. The guys reach the second floor seeing a balcony they step outside seeing the street flood over with the infected. Hide looked around till he sees a hummer military grade "Kaneki look a army vehicle."

The ghoul looked too see under them behind a wall was a hummer with other cars. He looked away till he saw a girl and a man running screaming for help. Hide watched seeing the man was desperate "some please help me and my child!!!" Kaneki watched till they reach a house banging on a door. His super hearing made him hear everything then he smelt blood.

The ghoul saw the man with a knife staff in his chest he fell on the ground the girl screamed for her dad. Kaneki saw the girl then a image of Hinami showed up which made him run downstairs. He put his mask  on till hide stoped him "Kaneki wait! We don't know if you can get affected if you get bite their is a lot out their and what if the girl afraid of you for being a ghoul." The ghoul turned around looking at his friend glad for his concern but turned around "if I come back with her and I'm bite I need you to run with her I don't know if I'll turn and if anything can hurt a ghoul infected."

He runs outside jumped over the fence till he hears a motorcycle seeing a brown haired teen driving that way towards the screaming girl. The ghoul ran only to hear gun shots seeing some dead fall down sniper he thought to himself. Kaneki ran along side the wall till he reached the girl the boy was protecting her and a dog till they started to come more in a wave. This made him close his eyes then jumped infront of them in a defensive manner. "Get the girl out of here." The teen looked at the white haired teen infront of him till he sees red tentacles come from his lower back attacking the dead. "I said go!"

Kaneki turned around making the girl and the teen flinch seeing the ghoul eye. Takashi was frozen in fear seeing a ghoul till he snapped out of it grabbing the dog climbing the wall. He kept moving forward hearing slashing behind him thinking to himself why would a ghoul save a human. Till the ghoul jumps grabbing him and the girl jumping into a roof and kept running till he stoped dropping them. The dog growled barking at the ghoul while Takashi backed away till a bullet hit in between them seeing it was his buddy. "Look the world is ending my kind is dying or better yet half my kind is dying so don't get all scared." He looked at the ghoul taking off his mask reveling one eye was grey and the other was ghoulish "what how ?"

The ghoul deactivated his ghoul eye looking away seeing the sniper then back at him. "It was a surgery I was once human like you. I have a friend who's named hide could you take him in please he's human and if I get bite I don't want to hurt him." The dog went up to Kaneki licking this shoe in return he pet the dog. The two looked at each other till something came from the shadows reviling it to be a ghoul.

"I need flesh!!!" The ghoul spit out blood only for Kaneki to look at him getting infront of the humans. "One eyes freak step aside your still clinging on to your human side I see. After that doctor and yamori your still being pathetic.." Kaneki kept his eyes on the ghoul till it was reviled to Ayato he closed his eyes "Touka is dead... she died from this infection just like you are I'm sorry ayato your sister gone."

The ghoul looked at the white haired ghoul then back at the humans drooling "why are you still alive not infected like me!?" Kaneki looked at him seeing the other ghoul getting weaker by the second "it's probably cause I'm half human and ghoul." This made ayato laugh holding his stomach trying to lung at the humans but Kaneki kicked him back. "Stay down ayato just die peacefully." Ayato got up activating his kagune firing only for Kaneki to block al the shots from hitting Takashi and the girl.

Kaneki kneeled down in some pain then got up slowly healing himself. Takashi watched the white haired ghoul walk over to the ghoul kneeing him and placing him down. "Your weakness is caring for people you care about even the humans.." this made Kaneki smile abit only for Ayato to breath one last breath dying. Takashi looked at him only for him to show him his hand "can you take us back to the place I'm staying. I know you saw the sniper and we can take your friend in. I'll discuss the rest about possibly you staying as well."

The ghoul nods slowly picking them up jumping down infront of hide. "Let's go hide these people can take us in." They all leave the building only to be greeted by the dead Kaneki activates his kagune making a path for the rest can make a easy escape across to the other building. They make it seeing the ghoul strength wipe them away with ease catching up everyone when he entered past the gate had a weapon on him. "What's a ghoul doing here !?" Kaneki turned to see a brown haired girl shout seeing a girl with pink hair looking at him with suspicion and fear.

Takashi looked at them "he saved my life and he's not exactly all ghoul.." hide stepped in "i know you guys don't know me but he's not all ghoul he was a human once and attended college with me!" Everyone looked at the ghoul only for him to have a plain expression cracking him finger. They all watched him only for the little girl to hug Kaneki making his jump. "Thank you mister for saving us." Then a bark was heard looking down seeing the dog wagging his tail in joy. Takashi just watched thinking to himself maybe keeping him around would be better for protection but would have to find a weapon in case he turns or gets hungry.
