THE TRUTH

3rd Person's POV

Y/n waiting at the couch while Mina pack her things up. Today Y/n will confront her father. She nervous because she didn't know if she ready for the truth yet or not. Staring into the thin air, her mind keep flashing the incident last night.

"I'm done," Mina look up and saw Y/n still at her seat. She shook her head before approaching. All this day, Y/n has bugging her about how nervous she is. Mina know that Y/n afraid for the truth. That she didn't ready yet. Took a seat beside her, Y/n still didn't notice her presence.

"Y/n," Mina touch Y/n forearm and make the other girl to startled.

"Jeez, you startled me."

Mina chuckled at Y/n frown face. But then she heard Y/n let out a small sigh.

"It's gonna be okay, Y/n." Mina held Y/n hand and squeeze as to comfort her. Y/n just flashed a faint smile to Mina.

"I'm glad you are with me," Y/n look at Mina before added, "But before that, can you delete your post? I look ugly."

"Nope. In fact you look so cute while you sleeping," Mina tapped Y/n nose causing that girl to pouted. "And that's also for revenge because you are taking my picture without my permission," Mina get up from the couch and retrieve her backpack.

"I knew it! But you look beautiful in that picture. While I look like a potato," Y/n still pouted.

Mina leaned to her desk and look at Y/n, "Don't worry, Y/n. I like fries."

Y/n rolled her eyes while Mina pulled her lips together try to hold a laugh.

"Come on now or you will be late," Y/n get up from couch and walk towards the door after hearing Mina.

Y/N's POV

After sending Mina home, I arrive at the coffee shop. I take a look inside the coffee shop from my car and saw he's already there. But he's not alone. He is with Jisoo and his another family.

I took a deep breath to steady myself before got out from my car. Since the accident he slapped me, I never go home and slept at my apartment. Jisoo has been calling me non-stop but I choose to ignore her.

My father's eyes bright when he saw me. But I just ignore him. Taking a seat opposite him, I bowed down respectly to greet them.

"What do you want, Y/n? Coffee or tea?", Jisoo ask me. I just shook my head.

Without looking directly at him, I speak. "So what do you want to explain?"

"I know that you are still mad at me, Y/n--," before he could finish, I cut him off. "Cut all the chase. Just get to the point."

Jisoo touch my arm. I look at her and she shook her head. Understand her hint, I look at him. "Sorry," I muttered.

I can see he shot a grateful look at Jisoo before speak. "Y/n, I made a huge mistakes by abandon you. I have to do this becaus--," his voice cracked as he trying to hold his tears. He took a deep breath before continue, "I can't tell you now. It's not the time."

I took a glance at the woman beside him. She just lowered her gaze.

"This is Soo Hee," he hold that woman hand before continue, "My wife. I want to tell you but you kept pushing me away. I guess I hurt you that bad, huh", he let out a small laugh.

I look up as I trying to hold my tears.

"You have a million reason to be mad at me, Y/n. I'm sorry about the other day. I wasn't able to control myself."
