TRAGEDY (PART 1)

Y/N's POV

"Y/n! Wake up," I slowly open my eyes and saw Dahyun look at me. Rubbed my eyes, I sit up.

"What time is it?", I asked Dahyun. Suddenly I heard a familiar voice in my room.

"Y/n, we need to leave now," I look at the source and see Jisoo peeking through the window. She then averted her eyes to me.

"Literally, right now," she said in a serious tone before talking to Tzuyu and Jeongyeon.

"What are you doing here, Unnie?", my question got ignored. Then my gaze fixed on Dahyun.

"What happened, Dahyun?", I look at Dahyun who just stay froze at her place. Suddenly a news on tv attract my attention. I stand up and walk closer to the tv to hear the news.

"We received a report earlier this morning local time, a 747 boeing plane from Korean Air has crashed into Yellow Sea due to technical problem. This plane has 301 passengers and 44 cabin crews. The report also stated at least 15 people killed in this crash while the rest still missing. Search and rescue team are doing their best to find and save the victims. This is the most tragic incident that happened in this year. My condoloces towards the family of the victim."

Suddenly it hits me. "U-unnie...didn't Appa on that plane?", I look at Jisoo who just stare at me with an unreadable expression. The next announcement from the news really make my heart dropped.

"We received another report stated that son-in-law of Park Jin Hyuk, chairman of Park's Holdings, Kim Goo In is one of the deceased victim. His wife, Kim Soo Hee along with their five years old son, Kim Myung Ri were also killed in this incident. Condolonces from us to Park Jin Hyuk's family."

"No, no. T-this can't be r-right," I rubbed my face. They just look at me. None of them didn't dare to approach me. Suddenly, I trashed the room. Picking up the bed lamp, I smashed it on the floor.

"Why?! Why?! Why I lost everyone?!"

I shouted and grabbed the vase nearest me then throw it to the wall. My hand shaped into fist before I punched the mirror right next to me. The mirror shattered in pieces but I didn't stop. Punch it over and over again eventhough my knuckles already bleed.

"Hey, stop!", Jisoo pulled me away and back hugged me. She's crying right now. I cried at her chest as hard as I can, try to endure the pain.

3rd Person's POV

Jeongyeon makes her move towards the door when someone knock it. While Jisoo try to keep Y/n calm down with a help from Tzuyu and Dahyun.

She swings the door open and saw Mina along with Nayeon, Jihyo and Sana. Jeongyeon eyeing Mina iritated.

"What do you want?"

"I-I heard a-about the news. H-how's Y-Y/n?", Mina stutters. She didn't dare to look at Jeongyeon right now.

She just scoffed at Mina's word. "Why do you care? Just get the fuck out of here," Jeongyeon ready to slammed the door before Nayeon interupt.

"Can you at least be a person with a humanity eventhough you are not?"

"Well I guess you should tell that to your friend here! Last night she broke Y/n's heart and now she came here, acting like she cared?!!", Jeongyeon shouted right infront their face.

"Who's here?", Tzuyu approaching from Jeongyeon's behind. Her eyes then fixed on terrified Mina. Hate burn in her eyes.

"Y'all better leave now," Tzuyu slammed the door before hearing the respond.

Mina fall on her knees. She really feel guilty towards Y/n. But what she did last night is for Y/n's goodness. For Y/n's safety. All she want now to hug Y/n. To comfort her.

Flashback

Mina's POV

I leaned my back at the wall. Waiting for the girls to finish shopping. We are now at the mall nearest the hotel. Since we had a free time for a while, Jihyo suggest us to go to shopping to kill some time.

My eyes caught a familiar figure walking not far from me.

"Isn't Jimin? What is he doing here?", I mumbled to myself. After a quick thinking, I decided to follow him. Eventhough he trying to cover himself with hoodies and mask but I recognized him.

That's when I saw he took a seat on empty table at the foodcourt. He obviously waiting for someone. Digging to my handbag, I found my mask and put it on. Guess it wasn't useless at all to bring mask everywhere. Tying my hair into ponytail to disguised better, I took a seat a the empty table near him. Luckily he didn't notice me because he's too anxious. I can tell it because Jimin's tapping his feet nervously.

Suddenly a man in his 40, approaching Jimin. I look at him closely. It's like I know him.

"Jimin?", that guys asked.

Jimin just nodded before took out an envelope and put in on the table. "It's her photo," Jimin said.

That man took opened the envelope and took out at least a dozen of photos. I can't tell who's in the photo since my back facing them.

"She's beautiful. Just like her mother," that man muttered.

"That's your daughter, Kim Y/n or now known as Park Y/n," my eyes widen in shock when I heard what Jimin says. If that man is Y/n's father, then who's Kim Goo In in Y/n's life?

"Is she here?", that man asked. Knowing something is about to go down, Mina slowly pulled her phone to record the conversation.

"Yes but now it's not a good time." Jimin whispered. He leaned in, "When the time has come, I want you to come to Seoul and claimed Y/n as your daugther. Besides an ilegimitate child cannot be part in Park's family," I can feel Jimin smirk at his own words.

That's why Y/n want to distance herself from me. Because of her status. I felt horrible when I thought a bad things about Y/n.

"Why are you doing this? Isn't she your cousin?"

Jimin scoffed. "Yeah she is. But she took away the love of my life, my right as the heirs. I can't let it happen. Beside now your daughter decided to leave Mina alone since I threat her to tell the public about her status. But this is just for pre-cautious if she forgot her promises."

"I will tell you when to act. Wait for my order," Jimin added. He about to leave when that man sneered.

"Don't do anything that hurt her, Jimin."

Jimin just look at the guy, disbelief. "Sentimental already?"

"She still my daughter."

Jimin groaned frustrated. "Jeez! Alright, I wouldn't touch your precious daughter," Jimin walk away from the table.

I still can't digest what I heard. Y/n is really in danger right now. I can't put her at risk.

Present Time

Y/N's POV

There's a thousand of flash swarming me now. I can't think with a clear mind right now. I lost Mina last night and now I lost someone who sacrifice a lot for me? A family who accepted me despite of my status? Tears started to fall. Jisoo hold me tightly, guiding me since I'm wearing a big bucket hat and a mask to covered up my face. The reporters keep on shouting their questions. The bodyguards who came along with Jisoo try their hard to keep the reporters away from me.

Not to mention, a fans of mine gathering in the lobby, waiting for me. But all I can think now is my family. The last time I met them is before this trip.

My ride already waiting from me. Jisoo opened the door and gesture me to go inside. I insisted Tzuyu, Dahyun and Jeongyeon to follow me since I need them as my strength. They all hold me as trying to comfort me.
