They say if you want something very much, you'll do anything to find it. It was either that or luck was on your side.
Your eyes rested upon a rather peculiar part of the forest after what seemed like an endless walk throughout the lushy and ominous woods. The world around you looked like it was the entity's edge of creation. The leftovers of trees and ground were adorned in a heavenly smelling glittering gold substance. The puss gave the radiant glow of a milion fireflies resting on the scenery as it slowly seeped down the flora. First time in your entire life have you seen such a thing. Furthermore, the very essence of this strange substance beckoned you over to touch it and smell the sweet delicate shining goo. The more you stood here the more you heard a siren's melody to touch the substances; to bathe your form in the glory of this beautiful display.
You didn't fail to notice the breathtaking flowers growing under every particle the goo touched and their appearance seemed otherworldly themselves. A dark burgundy color elegantly dancing with the light gold radiance. You got to your knees to atleast take a little wiff of the maddening almost flowers.
-"I wouldn't do that, less you want to go crazy." A sudden voice pulled you out of your sickened fascination with the plants as you shot your head up to the man who spoke those words. A rather puzzled expression was painted on your face; he wasn't a survivor, nor did he seem to be a killer. Who was he?
The elderly man let out a soft chuckle as his hands rested in front of him, displaying quite the elegant and posh personality.
-"I am The Archiever, young lady. I take care of all the memories and feelings she collects." The stranger spoke up as you nodded. So that spider thing was a she.
-"I never saw you in a trial..." You murmured and the man agreed to your statement. Hell you've never seen him before.
-"Indeed. She doesn't see me. Thanks to a device I have. Now, since you ventured out here; you wanted to find me. To ask questions, I presume?" The Archiever asked as your head shook and you got up from your knees. You'd rather not lose your sanity to those tempting flowers anytime soon.
-"I wish to access a killer's memories." You said in hope. The man beckoned you with his hand as the two of you ventured further into the strange glowing scenery. A few minutes passed and the two of you stumbled upon an old beaten down wooden house of sorts. Had to be his hideaway.
Inside you saw a messy array of journals, strange talismans, markings on the walls and tattered papers scattered all abound the small building. Everything piqued your curiosity, yet you could barely decipher what all these notes meant.
-"Is there any way to get out of here, Archiever?" You murmured as your eyes were left glued to the musky old wall. To your surprise it was a list of survivors and killers. With your and Ghostface's name being the recent ones.
Still, a name like Alex and Benedict seemed unfamiliar to you; and yet those were the first names listed here.
-"It would be nearly impossible to do that. But there is a way." At this statement your eyes lightened up in fires of hope. Your head almost instantly turned to the elderly man as he only smiled at your will to fight.
-"Once a year; she becomes weaker than usual. That glittering substance you saw before you got here? Let's just say she's pretty allergic to it. Gets even worse if she's in that day of the year. If you could sabotage her with the substance on that certain night, she'll lose the grip on this formed conscience." The man explained to you as you took in every speck of information.
-"Should you fail; the consequences will be dire." You sighed deeply. You hated being responsible for anything important and serious- Especially if it was a life and death scenario.
-"What about the memories?" You asked eagerly as the man walked over to you and laid a small blue eye charm into your palm. The object looked strange and creepy to say the least.
-"To access them you'll create your own rift and snatch the memories out of her mind. To do that you'll have to have exceeding performance in your trails. She has her favorites among killers and survivors. Just try to be elusive, if she finds out you're meddling with her brain, she'll make sure you'll never do it again." The Archiever spoke darkly as you gulped down saliva in worry. The thought of an eldritch being torturing you for all eternity wasn't too good of a deal. Especially if this was all to sate your curiosity. And that got you killed in the first place.
Perhaps this time would be different. You'd face the torment for the mere effort of trying to get out of this God forsaken realm. You had to take the risk.
-"I'll try my best." You announced in fervor of battle as The Archiever smiled at you warmly. He could see the flames of resilience and the cunningness in your eyes. He himself had hope for all that fate would bring.
-"Good, run along now (Y/n). The Entity might start to get suspicious if you're gone for long." The man waved you a goodbye and you scurried out with a quick thank you and farewell.

As you stepped outside the house seemed to suddenly dissappear and the woods were back to normal, alas the magical goo that you once more couldn't stop yourself from ignoring. Once again the flowers; now arranged in a sparkling flower bed beaconed you over to have a bite of madness itself. Your human senses surrendered almost instantly as the humming charmed you to the glistening flora. With a leap of fate your body slumped onto the plants and soon your entire being was covered in the golden light. Giggling like a madman you started to feel high and light, the happiness, the love; spreading through you as if the puss was laced with drugs.
You almost surrendered to the addicting madness but your little bubble of utopia was completely obliterated by a dreading figure snatching you out of the pits of glee with brute force.
-"Care to tell me why the fuck you're hugging that putrid shit like a madman?" Didn't take a genius to know who's pissed off voice it was. Still riding your high feeling of happiness you only smiled sweetly at the killer and laid a kiss on his mask.
-"Putrid? This smells heavenly. It's beautiful~!" You cooed as the Ghostface pointed a finger at the rotting corpse laying dangerously close to where you were resting mere seconds ago.
-"If you call that heaven you're the crazy one here." Danny said as he tried to wipe the golden pollon off of your face. A look into your eyes showed him that indeed, these plants were having some psychedelic effects on your mind.
-"Danny baby, I'm sorry~" You giggled and rested your head against the man's neck as he sighed and shifted you in his arms to let you rest comfortably in his embrace. Sure, he loved the name you called him, he found it cute how loving and affectionate you suddenly got but you being out of your mind was not alright with him.
-"You're going right back to the campsite." The brunette announced as you pouted at the words. You wanted to stay here with the flowers and him.
-"But I wanna stay and enjoy them some more..."You muttered but apparently Danny would have none of that as he turned away from the disgusting plants that almost made him wretch. How could you enjoy the scent of death and decay was beyond him.
-"Not having that doll. You're gonna stay the fuck away from all that. And Frank." The Ghostface threatened sternly as you giggled under your breath.
-"What's so fucking funny?" You felt the man lower his head to your joyful face.
-"You're still soooo jealous." You nitpicked as your fingers sloppily graced his mask.
-"I'm not jealous. Like I'd care for some random teenager being his usual stupid self. I'm better than he is." You couldn't help but to laugh at that statement. Your arms darted to the killer's neck as you wrapped your hands securely around him. You could feel the agitation radiating off of him as you laughed at his words.
-"You're better than him in every way possible, Danny. That's why I think you shouldn't be jealous." You whispered lovingly to the man, fearing the consequences of him losing his patience.
You closed your eyes and were left to wonder  how he'd react if he knew you decided to start snooping around his past. Would he be furious? Even more obsessive and violent if it meant a threat to his shrouded and mysterious personality? Maybe he'd feel glad that you cared what happened to him? You couldn't be quite sure.
-"Well princess, we're here. If I see you with the flowers again I swear I'll decapitate you in the next trial." Ghostface murmured and let you down on the ground. The forest seemed very familiar from this perspective and you couldn't help but to feel glad that you didn't lose your psyche and that Danny was there to pull you out of the flora.
-"Thank you." You said with a genuine smile and gave the man a small embrace. He instead just lifted his mask and laid a butterfly kiss on your lips. This felt better than before, where he just forced himself on you and your emotions. This felt like it was genuine. Then again you couldn't really see through his sly charade that well. Your fingers laid on your lips for a moment as the man turned around to go his own ways.

You heard Kate's voice call you out as you darted for the campsite.
-"Good heavens dolly, we were about to have a search party for you."
-"Sorry. I was collecting information about this place."
-"Found anything valuable?"
-"Oh you're in for a surprise Kate."
