"Heeeyyy," Zack said as he hugged me.

"Oh, hi!" I forgot he transferred into my school. Man, he looks even cuter today.

"I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye properly to you the other night," he said as he let me go.

"Oh no it's fine. I bet those girls were dying to talk to you," I joked. Zack blushed a little bit. Awww, he looked so cute.

Suddenly, the bell rang for 1st block.

"Do you know where your classes are at?" I asked.

"Yup. I kinda went around today. And it looks like I have chemistry 1st," he said as he looked at his schedule.

"Really? I have chemistry for first too!" I smiled at him. But inside, I was jumping for joy.

"Awesome. Shall we go?"

In class, Zack sat beside me. I noticed most of the girls in my class were constantly looking at him and they would giggle. Of course, I'm not the only one who finds Zack cute. Zack and I would quietly chat in the middle of class at times and some girls would give me looks. Bet they're jealous cause I'm the one sitting next to this handsome boy.

After class I gave Zack a little bit of tour around campus. And as usual, girls were looking at him again. I really don't blame them. Even I can't take my eyes off him. Then I started to feel quite uncomfortable next to him.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I tried to sound cheerful but failed.

"What's wrong?" he stopped walking next to me and lightly grabbed my arm.

"Nothing. Really, I'm fine. Can we just keep walking?"

"Come on, you can tell me anything," he said sincerely. He looked into my eyes and I couldn't help it.

"Fine. It's just that the way those girls look at you..." I started.

He was waiting for me to continue. "Yeah....?"

"Oh don't act like you don't see it."

"See what?" he asked innocently. Is he that oblivious?

"Your kidding. Don't tell me you don't see the way girls look at you. They look at you like they want you in their bed or something." Zack laughed. "I'm not kidding."

"You're exaggerating. Girls don't. And if they do, don't let it bother you. I mean, there really isn't a reason for you to be uncomfortable about it."

Yes there is, I thought. Here he is, looking all god-like and here I am feeling like a retard around him.

"Okay. I guess your right," I told him.

"Good. Now smile," he smiled at me so big that I couldn't help smile.

Just then I saw Kayla and Mike walking towards us. "Hey Kristine," Mike waved.

"Hey Mike. How was Washington?" I asked.

"Cold," Mike joked. "I mean it's great and all, but I missed Kayla." Mike put his arm around Kayla. She smiled so wide. Awww I'm so happy for her. They're so in love.

I forgot Zack was standing next to me. "Oh yeah, guys, this is Zack."

Kayla was wide-eyed. "Zack? Ummm..hi." Mike waved at him.

"This is Kayla, and her boyfriend Mike," I introduced them.

"Hey guys," Zack waved back. Kayla eyed me and I eyed back.

"Well, We gotta go," Kayla said as she pulled Mike's hand. Kayla gave me a sly smile. I know what she's trying to do. I'm not gonna make a move on Zack, yet.

"Kayla..." Zack wondered after they left. "Oh I remember now. She used to be so girly. And always seemed so happy."

I laughed at the thought. "And she still is."

Zack turned to face me. "You didn't change either."

"What? Really?" I asked. He nodded. "Well you seemed to have changed a lot, on the other hand."

He smiled. "Not that much."

Not that much?! This is not the same Zack from when I was ten years old.

I didn't noticed Zack staring at me. Damn, his eyes are beautiful.

"You have nice eyes," I blurted. Shit! Did I just say that?

It felt like a minute before he responded. "Thanks. They're green."

It was quiet for awhile before our stare was broken by the bell.

"I guess it's time to get to class," Zack said.

"Y-yeah. Umm...see ya in lunch?" I asked.

"Shoots then," he waved then walked off.

I waited til he was out of sight before I started walking. On my way to class, one thought kept popping in my head:

Do I actually like him???
