Chapter 1

Y/N Pov

"LEILANI" I yelled out to one of my good friends she turned around "oh hay (Y/N)" Leilani replied as she walked towards me "what did you need?" She asked "I was wondering if you wanted to come over today".

"Yeah sure let me just call my mom real quick"she took out her bright pink phone 'I don't get why it's pink but if she likes it than I'm ok with it' she then hung up and put her phone in her pocket.

"My mom said I can just as long as we don't get drunk" Leilani then smiled at me and took a bottle of sake out of her bag.

"No" I immediately took the bottle out of her hands and put it in a nearby dumpster " NO ALCOHOL I've told you already I don't drink that stuff but anyway let's get going it's gonna get dark soon and we have a long way to walk".

"Okay fine lets go" She replied me and Leilani started walking down the sidewalk at a slow pace I had this weird feeling in my gut that said something was wrong but I shook it off.

"(Y/n) what do you want to do when we get to your house?" I looked at her my own (E/c) eyes staring at her emerald green ones then I started thinking about it and got excited.

"We can bake cupcakes and some cookies then oh we can make BIG PILLOW AND BLANKET FORT AND STAY UP AND WATCH SCARY MOVIES THEN TOMORROW WE CAN GO TO THE CAFE THEN-."

"(Y/n) calm down I'm sure we will have enough time for those activities but what I want to do tonight is go to JJ's party"Leilani interrupted.

"OKA-" I started

"AHHHHHHHH"but was cut off by a shrilling scream

"L-Leilani d-did you hear t-that" I turned to her she looked at me and nodded determination started filling me I nodded at her saying 'let's go help' she nodded back with her own determination then me and her bolted where we heard the scream.

We ran into an alleyway and saw a guy pointing a gun at a 5 year old little boy with 2 people dead on the floor near him my friend rushed to grab the boy while I tackled the guy with the gun.

"G-GET OFF ME YOU LITTLE RUNT" the man yelled trying to push me off I turned to my friend.

"RUN AND TAKE HIM WITH YOU I GOT HIM" I screamed at her she looked at me for a minute and then looked back at the boy and nodded and picked him up and ran.

I turned back to the guy who is reaching for his gun I kick it further away I looked back at him and he punched me right in the face knocking me off of him I rubbed my face and started getting up and everything was blurry I started rubbing my eyes and shaking my head.

"Any last words" as I got my vision back I heard a gun  cock he had it aiming at my head I opened my mouth to speak.

"Put your weapon down or we will shoot" I turned my head to see a group of police officers aiming their guns at him he looked back at me and started pulling the trigger but he was shot in the leg he missed my head.

But hit me right in my chest I heard someone scream  and I saw Leilani running towards me with the boy tears running down both there face Leilani dropped down right beside me and started crying holding me close to her.

"DON'T LEAVE ME (Y/N)!!!" She sobbed out it hurt seeing her like this more than the bullet in my chest did way more than anything I smiled at her she looked at me shocked.

"I-It's g-gonna b-be o-ok" as soon as I said that I coughed up some blood and continued "I m-may have k-known you o-only a m-month b-but in t-that m-month y-you m-made me r-really h-happy a-and I can't a-ask f-for a b-better f-female f-friend r-remember m-me" I immediately started coughing up more blood.

I was picked up by what looked to be a doctor I don't know my vision started fading in and out.

"WE...LOSING...HER!!!"

"(Y/N), NO... ME...HELP...HER!!!"

The very last thing I saw was me being put in a category 2 ambulance and those were the vary last words I heard before everything turned dark and I was floating in a pit of darkness nothing around me 'is this what death feels like?'
