It is (Y/n)'s birthday today she turned 6 it would have been nice if her parents actually talked to her right now she's in her room wondering why her parents changed so much with cuts on her back and bruises her father said that 'she needs to be ready for all kinds of attacks' but (Y/n) knew that was not the case probably because the second time he tried it she was ready and pinned him to the floor.

But her mother walked in seeing that and started yelling 'monster' she jumped off her father confused on why she was being called a monster she got close to her mother to ask her but her mother just slapped her across the face.

So now she's spending her birthday alone in her room Zabuza and Haku had to go back because they were only here for a little bit doing a mission but they had to go back to the mist.

(Y/n) Pov

Right now I'm sitting in my room thinking about life and we're it all went wrong.

"(Y/n)" I heard my 'mother' call I don't even think I can call her a mother anymore but if I say her name it's a worse beating.

"Coming" I called out I ran out my room to the living room there were presents on the table and a cake I was in shock.

"We thought is would be nice to have your birthday as a family.....one last time" she mumbled the last part but I still heard it but didn't question it I just smiled it was fake but they don't know that "come open your presents then we can have cake" she said happily 'too happy'.

"Thank you Kaachan, Touchan" I sat down and opened the first present it was a leash 'I'm confused' 'so am I' I grabbed the next present and opened it a collar 'Do you have a pet or something that I don't know about' 'nope not unless they got me a pet' I opened the lass one next thing I know my father pinned me down and my mother put the collar on me.

"Get off me" I growled out trying to push him off Akita as she attached the chain to the collar on my neck and attached it to the side of the stove she then smirked at me "LET ME GO" I growled.

My father smiled grabbed a knife I back up real quick he chuckled.

'Where do I go now Josephine' 'Go to the sand village' came her immediate response I nodded and started running faster.
