Carry me through the shackles of the night,
For It's always darkest just before the dawn
I don't know why it feels like yesterday,
But the sight of you brings memories to light
Stay awake with me, and let's write this verse together
For I cannot feel anything without you being present
Why is it that you hold such an important part of me
somewhere deep within your heart
I can hear the noises echoing around me,
Yet I am secluded in my own little world under lock and key
Why is it that my memories must always fade
So far away from me
