The former Death said that he would reap God too. That wasn't a statement of fact but a threat made to God before creation. Unexpectedly, Chuck's current apocalypse is halted by an unknown force which all major powers are racing to find. Will this n...
"Tell me you don't believe this shit!" Dean yelled as he paced the Men of Letter's Library. Sam rolled his eyes at his brother without looking up from his book. No response was needed to spur Dean on at this point because the man had been going nonstop for at least fifteen minutes. He hadn't even noticed Billie's disappearance to resume her duties or Cas flying off to go and try to confirm the new information. "Cas, what do you th---" Dean questioned as he spun around to pace again. Looking around and still not seeing Castiel, Dean said, "Where the hell is Cas?"
Sam sighed and slammed his book shut. "He left like ten minutes ago, Dean. Billie too for that matter." Sam stood and started gathering books from his table. "Now, I am going to my room to review these books and see if I can find anything that supports Amara and Death's tale. You could do something useful and help me research for once. But if you're still stuck on ranting some more, please do so in front of the kitchen herb garden. The CO2 is good for the plants. At that, Sam left to his room and Dean headed to the kitchen. Meanwhile, Jack sat at his laptop with his earbuds in as he watched Scooby-Doo. However, as he watched the cartoons, he was forming a plan to talk with Balance once they located her. Meeting his grandfather hadn't gone so well, but maybe a meeting with his grandmother would be less painful.
It two hours later around 6pm that saw Death and Amara arguing at their table in Bitter and Pour. They were arguing about whether to tell Chuck about finding his wayward wife and how they should tell him if they did so. Death was in favour of letting God remain oblivious about Balance's, or Lexi's, location. After all, he hasn't been in his right mind for the past few trillion years and the last 862 universes. Death wanted to protect his twin, his currently amnesiac twin, from that sort of unstable behavior. Amara argued that he was so unstable because he was missing his wife and that even simply seeing her or being in her presence would help him regain some of his faculties. Amara wanted to fill in her brother immediately. Before the two primordials could reach an agreement, Amara's cellphone started ringing. As she pulled her phone from her clutch, Amara smiled and waved her phone tauntingly in Death's face. "It seems, dear Death, that this is fate, as the mortals say."

Amara moved to answer her cell, but Death intervened by slamming his cane from his side and into the phone. "None of that" Death said as he vanished the phone from existence. "I do hope you have your brother's number memorized." At Amara's withering look, Death said, "No? What a shame." Death returned his cane to its former place as he smirked at the Darkness. It was at that moment that God popped into existence by their table holding a kitten.

"Hey, guys!" Chuck said. "Sis, I tried to call you and tell you the good news, buuuut... you didn't pick up. Look! I got us a kitten, a ragdoll kitten in fact. Isn't she cute?" Chuck handed the black and white kitten to his sister's outstretched hands. "I mean, not as cute as me---"
"You are the cutest" Amara said as she took the kitten from her brother.
Chuck smiled proudly as he said, "I know, right? I designed this body myself." As used his finger to circle his own face he said, "As I have said before, this face of mine is super cute."

"Shut up, Brother. I wasn't talking about your vessel." Amara interrupted as she snuggled the kitten to her face. Clearly towards the kitten she said in her baby talk voice, "You are so adorable. Who's the cutest of my brother's creations? You are. Yes, you are." She then cuddled the kitten to her chest and looked towards her brother. "Thank you, Brother, for my cat."
"O-our cat" Chuck said but his sister ignored him. Shelving the topic for later, Chuck pulled up a chair and sat on it backwards. "Soooo, what are you talking about?"
"These spectacular pickle chips" Death said. Amara rolled her eyes at her friend and opened her mouth to tell her brother about finding Balance, but she hesitated. What if Death was right? How was her brother supposed to help Balance find herself if he had forgotten his own self? Amara decided against telling him and worked alongside Death to get Chuck to leave the bar. They couldn't risk Chuck seeing the necklace in Lexi's possession and connecting the dots.
Death and Amara combined kept the secret of Lexi for a good fifty-three hours. Death was fulfilling his duties and Amara was shopping for pet supplies in Reno, so Chuck was bored. That's how he wound up drinking whiskey at the bar of Bitter and Pour where Lexi was once again working. As Lexi bent down to grab some bottles under the bar, her necklace fell exposed to Chuck's sight. Immediately, Chuck froze time for everyone in the surrounding area except them, let loose some of his godly power, and pinned the blonde waitress where she stood. Chuck was unremorseful as he looked into her frightened eyes and demanded to know where she got the necklace. At Lexi's silence, Chuck tightened the hold of his power.
"Brother, STOP!" Amara yelled at Chuck. She had appeared to satisfy her curiosity of why she felt her brother freeze time. "Trust me. You do not want to do this. Please stop" she pleaded. Chuck refused and continued hurting his waitress as he demanded answers, but he was stopped by a blast of cold power which threw him backwards.
"Hello, Chuck" Death said from where he now stood behind his twin. "That was enough of that." Turning away from a furious God, Death comforted a hysterical Lexi and checked her for wounds before wiping her memory of the incident. He might not be God's biggest fan, but they were friendly enough and the being acknowledged that Chuck truly loved his sister. He wouldn't allow Chuck's new first interaction with his twin be this. He was no cupid, but he was certain that threats of torture did not make the best basis for rekindling a long-forgotten flame. Upon seeing Chuck's darkening expression, Death spoke up once more. "Resume that I will be forced to fulfill my old threat to reap you."
"R-reap me?" Chuck questioned as he got up from the floor. At first Chuck was confused because Death's threat to reap him was based on if he, or God himself, hurt Death's own twin. He looked from Death, to Amara, to the waitress. "You mean she's---? No. No, she can't be."
"Yes, Brother" Amara said as she hugged God from the side. "It's her, it's Balance." Chuck stumbled up to the form of the frozen waitress. He caressed her face as he whispered her name over and over in disbelief that she was standing right in front of him. So many years, so many universes and he finally had her back. "Brother" Amara started again. "There's something you should know. Balance doesn't remember any of us, including you. It was at that moment a massive earthquake made the entire state tremble and a statewide storm started raging.
