Equality? Really?

Feminism. Is that a word for a utopia? Or just a word in a no-topia? It's the most trendy topic of today, and both teenagers and adults, and hell even kids are been arguing with this. And now in these modern days, Feminism could not be denied as one of the Human Rights. It also could be realized in Women and Children act, and even added in LGBTQ's objectives. Although, Femenism is now universal, there are still debates that exist.

Equality is one of the goals in Femenism. It is not only the women who could benefit with it but also the men. It serves as a symbol that any of the sexes has the mind and strength to achieve something great, because we all have the brain to think and have the ability to take what we think in action, so there is no need to deprive, after all, we are all humans.

But let's be honest, some people fathom that Feminism is straight up focusing on the needs and interests of women rather than men. It is apparent that the system immediately takes action on a woman who is harrased with sexual abuse, but what if a man is victimized by a woman with that harassment? Some people, but majority of them, will think and say that it is not that an issue since they judge some men to like it and claim that men have nothing to lose if that happened....like they wouldn't be pregnant, be shamed with others, or even be depressed. Well, it is terribly wrong. Men also deserve to be heard on their behalf, because if it's ignored then it is not Feminism at all. That is deprivation to one's sex, making Equality to both of the gender to fail.

Moreover, that is not the only problem that is happening on the concerns of Equality. Majority of teenage girls are also a center of attraction of inequality. Girls who lose their virginity in their youth is considered preposterous and is frowned upon. But if it's the boys, it's nothing more like spitting out a bubblegum on the streets. Furthermore, those teenage girls who sleep with various men will easily gain the title of a slut, or whore. Meanwhile, if it's the other sex, specifically speaking the males, they will be praised and have positive feedbacks of being well-experienced. It is not Equality if the system and the society kept degrading females' sexuality, as if they could not own it and preach it with their head high. Women should be empowered over their selves and be confident to prove everyone else that they are worthy of respect and importance.

In this matter, Feminism is apparent, but there are still cracks evident in its declared Equality amongst the sexes. Furthermore, it is still on the process of being "fulfilled" over the running days of gender prejudice. It is up to the people in making this ideal triumphant or live back to our old dark days of illiberalism.
