"Come on Michael, if Charles was able to communicate with us up there then you can do it too. Talk to Jennifer maybe, we need to warn her." James suggested, squeezing Michael's knee pointlessly. "James, I can't do that yet. I haven't got the ability like Charles did!" James sighed dramatically and made Michael look at him, "Yes you can."

He began focusing on trying to get into Jennifer's brain. Her brain was hard to track considering how far they were from each other. Michael began feeling both tired and ridiculous trying to do the impossible. Until he entered her mind.

It felt strange for him to be intruding in her business but he knew it was necessary. However she began to think a lot. Oh god, she didn't give me a proper chance to try to understand her mutation. How am I meant to change form when I want to? And what does she mean by Charles coming to get me?

"James, we don't need to do anything except get home. She already knows about what's happening from Raven visiting her. I think they're all there except maybe Wolverine and a few others. It might be just us 3."
"It's better than nothing, now get us the fuck home because I want my normal body back."

Michael found a strange book underneath the wheel and leaned over to grab it. Realising he was in wheelchair again, he asked James to hand it to him. When James bent down to get it, Michael pulled his shirt and gave him a small kiss.

"Don't be a prick, I don't want to kiss when we look like this. Just take the book." It was a book written by Logan... for Michael to read to learn about all of Charles' powers. He must have known what Charles had been planning. But why would he be here in hell?

It's not actually Hell, he means that it's like hell. It's the world the Sentinals destroyed.

"Jennifer? Are you in?" Nick yelled through the door as he continuously banged on it. They desperately needed to talk to each other, this bomb had been dropped and they needed to figure out a proper plan.
"I'm here but I don't want you to see me..."
"Jen, come on! We're friends!"
"Raven left me as her normal self and she left as me..."

He opened the door, realising he was an idiot for not just walking in before. In front of him stood Jennifer looking better than she ever had. She was Mystique, blue but badass. Stunned, he stuttered, "Jennifer, you look like a damn boss bitch."
"I don't know what to do! I can't leave my hotel room now because of her and her stupid warnings! I bet they won't even find me."

He rolled his eyes at her, "Shut up Jennifer and try to change into me."
"Why would I need to do that?"
"To test them out, just try." She focused really hard and noticed her body began changing. Nick was staring at himself and it scared him slightly.
"Okay, now a cover person. Make up a look of someone in your head. Or maybe even yourself."

She morphed into a girl with short, curled brown hair, gorgeous hazel eyes, a small button nose and the most perfect lips anyone could ever have. He desperately wanted to kiss her but knew that it was too inappropriate considering they were friends.

"I look absolutely gorgeous. It's weird to see myself this way. But, I want to see your mutation!" He went red and sweaty, "I don't think we should until it's really necessary. We know exactly what the Beast would do."
"Kick the asses of other stupid mutants?"

He laughed, knowing he could probably do that but worse. He could kill someone if he wasn't careful about his powers.

People's lives were literally in his hands.
