my eyes peeled open, lids flickering as sunlight shined into them. i squinted from the harshness, rubbing with my fingers balled into a fist. as my vision became clearer, i found myself in a room surrounded with posters, awards, momentos of the one and only mirage. my head rested upon a soft pillow and i soon realised i was laying in his bed. surprised, i whipped my head around to check if he was in the bed with me, but he wasn't...

i gazed at the ground in confusion, noticing my sneakers against the wall across the room. but i never took them off? feeling slightly dazed, i pulled the covers back and slipped out of his bed. i had to admit, his room was such a sweet but masculine scent at the same time. i really appreciated it, he smelled good.

slipping my sneakers back on, i exited his room swiftly, not to make a sound incase he was still asleep somewhere. to my surprise, he was sound asleep with his body sprawled across his couch in an awkward manner. did he really sleep on the couch all night?

tapping his shoulder softly, he began to stir and groan, his eyes opening slowly til they landed upon me towering over him. a smile crossed his lips, a blush attacking my cheeks. i smiled softly back at him.

"well. good morning, sunshine." his morning voice was deep and croaky, it was soothing to the ears.

"morning." i gave him a small wave, a habit i noticed recently.

"how did you sleep?" he asked, scooting himself upwards to sit against the arm of his couch.

"i slept well i think, although i'm a little confused how i.. uh, ended up in your bed?" my voice grew quieter from nerves as i spoke.

"ohhh right! after i put the movie on, you were out in seconds. you feel asleep against my shoulder, but i didn't want you to be uncomfortable.. so i decided to carry you to my bed whilst i took the couch." he answered, that bubbly personality shining through as i smiled at him fondly.

"you really did that for me? i'm- flattered." i spoke with a surprised tone, never thinking he could be so caring and generous.

"it's the least i could to, you came to see me after all! it was no big deal, really." he assured waving his hands about as he got to his feet.

"thank you. i feel bad, it can't have been comfortable for you." i admitted, gazing up at him shyly. he was taller than me and i liked that.

"nah, slept like a baby! no biggy, i promise. want some breakfast? i can make us something!" he offered cheerly, slipping past me to head towards his kitchen area.

"i'm good, but thank you! never was much of a breakfast person." i declined with a small chuckle.

"no worries! i could eat for days with my metabo-matabal- meteh.. excuse me." he frowned in embarrassment from his stutter, turning towards his fridge. i think he was hiding his red face, poor guy.

"you're good." i said, walking up to him to pat his arm for reassurance.

"th-thank you.. it's just, i have this annoying ass speech problem, not too good with vowels." he revealed, scratching the back of his neck with a chuckle.

"hey, we all have our quirks. i don't look at you any different.. i find it kinda cute actually." i admitted with a smile, before turning my head as a blush rose to my face once more. i wanted to make him feel comfortable being himself around me, knowing he wouldn't be judged.

"i really appreciate that, that's just so.. so sweet. i- i don't know what to say." his voice was quieter, almost from relief as he stuttered.

i hummed in response before stepping away from his side and turning to walk away. that was until i felt his has hand clutching firmly onto my wrist, tugging me back softly. i gasped in surprised, startled by the action.

"thank you. for everything." he turned to me with gratitude before releasing me.

"it's no-" i was cut off by a finger being pressed to my lips.

"kiss me." he stated, his expression serious as he gazed into my eyes, stepping closer to me. my heart began to pound and my cheeks were turning deeper from the sudden butterflies in my stomach.

"i- what? i-" i found myself struggling to get anything out.

"just do it. kiss me." he commanded, his voice a little huskier than before as he stepped closer.

without knowing what came over me, i crashed my lips into his, attacking them with passion as i caused him to stumble back into the counter. i stepped my feet onto his bare ones, raising them to stand on my tippy toes as i deepened the kiss, his hands pressing against the counter to deal with my weight. i felt his tongue slither between my lips and into my mouth, attacking my own aggressively. they fought until he eventually won, leaning forward so i fell off his feet. he clutched my waist and pulled me into him, leaning me further backwards so he could take control. we broke away with a string of saliva connected between us, trying to catch our breaths from the event that just took place.

"i.. that was really something." he spoke, both hands against the counter to support himself as he looked at me.

"i don't know what to say." i was feeling so many emotions at once, it was confusing me so much inside.

"don't say anything. if you stay with me, i know that kiss meant something." he stated stepping closer to me once more.

"i'm not going anywhere."
