the days were counting down until the games and people were starting to get more and more competitive, especially in the training area. caustic had knocked mirage flat out on his ass for messing around with his gas canisters and bangalore couldn't accept coming second to octane in the speed run.

so here i was, holding an ice pack to my dumbass's head as he laid on the couch, resting against my lap. i stroked pieces of his hair he gazed at me through dazed eyes. oh what was he thinking.

"rise and shine, old man." i teased, poking at his cheek playfully.

"sh-shut up.. k-iddo," he groaned, "what happened?" his voice was strained as he rubbed his eyes.

"you dared to mess with caustic's shit and well - paid the price." i answered with a low chuckle, he smacked my leg in annoyance.

"that man has issues, he needs a psyxhie-psychiat-psychiasist?" he stuttered with a worn-out tone.

"psychiatrist." i corrected, shaking my head with a fond snicker.

"right. that." he rolled his eyes, pulling himself upwards with a wince leaving my thighs feeling cold and empty.

"just stay clear of him, you don't know what he's capable of... unless you're squadded up with him, then good luck." i advised with caution, caustic being another i had my eye on for a while. not out of interest, but out of concern. something was brewing in that dark mind of his.

"yeah yeah, i gotcha sweetie." he teased tapping at my arm. i blushed as usual.

"you know, we should do something to spend more time with each other before the games." i suggested. not knowing the outcome of the games and its new simulation was scary.

"i mean my bed is perfectly empty and could use some filling ya know." he smirked confidently, that devilish look in his chocolate eyes making me feel all types of ways.

"ell, i'm flattered, but like.. you sure that's what you wanna do?" i asked hesitantly, staring at his feet.

"i mean.. yes. like absolutely." he admitted stepping closer to me.

"i don't know if i'm ready for that yet." i said, shrugging with a deep breath. it was a large commitment, especially my first time.

"i don't wanna rush you, baby, but we also don't have many days left. i wanna get a taste of you." he licked his lips, straddling me on the couch as i gulped.

"not now. but we will. just not now, cowboy." i refused, cupping his cheek in my hand. he leaned into it with a frown.

"fine. but before the games?" he asked, pouting in a needy manner.

"yes. now stop crushing me, you're heavy." he groaned trying to push him off.

"it's all that muscle, kiddo. you should get some." he teased squeezing at my arm. "or you can get some of mine?" he'd better wipe that smirk off his face.

"shut up, dummy." i rolled my eyes as he got off of me.

"aight, we'll go out to dinner and then fuck afterwards? no buts." he stated suddenly with seriousness, hands on his hips.

"i can get behind that."
