A New Beginning (MHA X Reader)

Entry 1

  Today is the day that from America I'm going, by plane, to Japan in hopes that I make it to UA, a prestigious school in which trains you to become a hero! However, I'm going in the middle of the year since...actually I'm not even sure.

  But anyway if I don't make it, per my dad's suggestion (if you could even call it that) that if I don't make it, stay here for four years and see if I could live on my own. Even though by then I'd be a legal adult anyways in Japan and America.

  Speaking of Japan, I don't know the language so I'm not sure how that'll work out. Although I believe there is an engineering course called a 'Support Course' at UA so perhaps I could ask them to make some sort of translator? But at least I know the right direction to read books in if that's any good. 

  But anyway I've just landed so I'll go for now.

   As of now one of the teachers from UA picked me up from the airport and are driving me there. How nice! Luckily he knew how to speak English and is even from America! How perfect! We had a nice conversation, however, eventually, he asked me if I knew who he was. I was really confused. Oh god, he's probably like some famous person but I have no clue because I live under a darned rock! 

  "Uhm I'm sorry but I don't, I'm sorry" oh god, I've made an idiot of myself haven't I? 

 He started chuckling and said "it is fine young [L/N], usually I'm used to people crowding around me and shouting my name; this is a nice change. I'm the number one hero, All Might!"

  OMG I'M AN IDIOT! OF COURSE, HOW COULD I NOT KNOW! GOSH DARN I NEED TO KEEP TRACK OF THIS STUFF FROM NOW ON! Omg, I hear about him all the time I just don't know the faces or quirks very well, except for Present Mic but I only know about because some people recommended me to look him up since he's quirk is very similar to mine.
 
  But other than that little mishap it was a decent conversation! He said that I remind him of someone, the only difference was appearance (although he said that even there were some similarities too) and knowledge on pro heroes. Eventually, we finally got to UA and I felt the excitement in me bubble up to the point to where I have to dig my nails into myself to calm down although it's not that surprising since I have to do that a lot.
 
  Since we're here now I'll have to go again to take a test or two to determine whether I'm worthy or not to become a student here. I hope I make it!

  For the testing I was basically in a faux city I suppose you could call it. As Present Mic just explained there will be robots with a certain amount of points, however, I don't care much about that so I accidentally space out. Right before the test, I ask Present Mic if he could tell me when all the robots are out. He says no but I'm fine with that too. The solution is quite simple. If robots are coming then they must be close by. So then I could just snap my fingers and use echolocation as bats do.
 
  Actually, I should explain my quirk. So my quirk is called "Echo". Like I said earlier it's basically like Present Mic's quirk but my entire body and not just my voice. In summary, I can manipulate the sound molecules I make. However, if I go over my limit the skin around whichever area can tear or if I'm using my voice I'll cough up blood due to torn vocal cords.

  Once the test starts I get on top of a building and sit down. Ahh, hot concrete to burn myself on. How nice.

  I start snapping my fingers and once I find the area I keep snapping and using my quirk to make the sound molecules only go over there. Once I hear the sound indicating that all the bots are out I stretch, and then I swing my arms upward like an x then swing them down as hard as I can. With that, the skin around my arms is surely damaged. Luckily I was wearing tight, long sleeves. But because I was, instead of torn skin, it tore some muscle in my arm. But then a gigantic, and I mean GIGANTIC robot comes out. Which... IS PERFECT! I've been wanting to test a theory I've had for a while. So I bend my arm where my elbow is and bend my wrist back too. If my theory is correct than if I snap my fingers it'll act as a bullet. However, if I want to wreck this thing it's going to be a huge ass bullet. So I add as much friction and force as I can and snap my fingers. 

  WHOA, MAN! It was a big bullet but not big enough. So then I just do that but really fast and repetitive. God, when you snap your fingers a lot it HURTS.

 After that, the judges, which I suppose are the teachers and other staff, wanted to do another test. This time instead of a battle it was a written exam, which should be fine since academics are my strong suit. They said I would take the one that was meant for the recommended students. Which, again, I'm perfectly fine with. LET'S DO THIS! PLUS ULTRA!

 After the entirety of the exams, they said that I was free to go home but after a couple of seconds I told them that I didn't have one here. One of the teachers said to the others that I couldn't stay in the new dorms. All Might suggested that I stay with one of the student's parents so I could meet some new people and have at least one before I get here if I make it. He suggested a kid named 'Midoriya Izuku'.
