A New Beginning (MHA X Reader)

Entry 9

  All I could see was some big place. I don't know what it was, but it was isolated. Almost like an island. But instead of sand and the sort, it was just a building.

  The next thing I saw was this guy with almost no facial features, just a mouth. He was sitting in a chair with all sorts of tubes and stuff around it and him. He was also restrained.

  "Has the second semester started yet? Or is it soon? Weren't you devoted to teaching now? What do you want with me?" He asked.

  Across from him, I could see a guy who was extremely skinny, his cheekbones were sticking out and his brow bone would cover his eyes to the point where you could only see the pupil. He had some really baggy costume that looked like a hero costume. I didn't know which hero though. But, they also had blond hair and the front of it was long, kind of like Uraraka's hair. He was also sitting in a chair, but he didn't have any tubes or anything. He wasn't restrained either. "I want to make things clear, All For One." Is that his actual name or something? Please, no.

  "All Might, do you know how stifling this place is?" Wait...THAT'S ALL MIGHT? WAS HE THE HERO THAT RETIRED AFTER THAT ONE INCIDENT IN JAPAN? "If my back itches and I try to scratch it with the chair, these guns will automatically adjust to where I am. They also monitor my vital signs and even my brain waves. If I even think about activating my quirk, my life is in danger. Covered in layers of security, hidden far underground, and the constant removal of anything unnecessary. The world calls this place 'Tartarus', which is greek mythology for the name of the god ruling the underworld. Even I'd have trouble battling a god."

  "You'll never get out."

  The guy whose name seemingly really is All for One starts giggling a bit "I'll let you think that. What did you want? Are you alone? Where's Gran Tarino? Why do you have a costume that looks like you don't know when to give up? Don't tell me, you're still working as a hero?"

  "You have a lot to say"

  "Try to understand! It's the first actual conversation I've had in a while."

  "Where is Shigaraki now?"

  "I don't know. Mine has already left the nest. Unlike yours, that is."

  "What are you trying to achieve? What did you try to do? Preserving your body beyond human reason to live for such a long time. Devoting time exploiting, controlling, and toying with others. What were you hoping to accomplish?"

  "This isn't a very productive topic. You won't be satisfied with my answer. Sometimes there are people who will just never understand each other. We're the same you know. You longed to be a hero of justice, and I longed to be like an evil demon king. It's simple, isn't it? I had an ideal, and I had the power to make it a reality. If I could live forever in my ideal, then I would make the effort to make it happen, of course."

  "Then why do you need a successor?"

  "Your one to ask! That's funny! You took everything from me! Look at me. The only thing keeping me alive is this tube. When you came my infinite ideal suddenly became finite. When a person realizes that the end is near they pass their work on to another. It's true for anything. Buildings, food. It's all developed as it's passed from one person to another. I'm simply trying to do what everyone else is doing." He said this with a daunting smile on his face the whole time. But, that's what happened with all the other things he said too. He never once really stopped smiling. It reminded me of All Might if things went horribly wrong.

  Another voice suddenly came on from a speaker. "All Might, you have three minutes left."

  "Wait, don't say that." All For One for says while laughing. "I want to talk...more." He turns his attention back to All Might. "The world's probably shaken up by your retirement, but how are things?"

  The voice from the speaker came back saying "He's isolated from outside news. We ask that you refrain from saying anything carelessly."

  "You heard him" All Might told All for One.

  "That's too bad. I'm sure it's similar to this: The media is uneased by your retirement and they're worried about the number one hero is now Endeavor. With both of those, they are questioning the unity of the hero society as a whole. All the while they sense the instability of the people in the shadows starting to act. They think they have the chance to change society and have started to move in a more organized way" as he's saying this I fell like I'm drifting away from this scene but I can't! I have to see more! "Tomura and his group will continue to hide for a while, just to be sure whose organization is at the top. Everyone will probably want to raise their influence, therefore fighting among the villains themselves will occur. If the scenario works as it should, then that's how it'll turn out, if so then all this happened because of your retirement and false form.

  I could see All Might finally lose his patience. His eyebrows scrunched, his teeth gritted, fist clenched, sweating. All for One was toying with him. These were signs that All for One was right. "You won't be able to save people anymore. All you can do now is watch as the villains increase all because of you and be powerless for the rest of your days. But tell me, do how you feel?"

  All Might suddenly stands up. He's emotional about the topic. All for One was right. If not almost everything, then he got everything correct to the t.

  "All Might, please stand back" The speaker voice comes back.

  "When feelings are guessed correctly people often get angry. It's too bad you can't punch me."

  "Don't think that you are the only one who knows everything. I understand very clearly what you are thinking. You plan to have my master's relative to kill me, or both Young Midoriya and I." Midoriya? What does he have to do with all of this? I know their powers are similar, but a lot of people can have similar quirks. Hell! They don't even have to be related to have a similar quirk. "That's what your plan was right?"

  "And?"

  "I will not die. I won't let Shigaraki kill me. I can not be killed. I won't let your future come to pass!"

  "You said you came to make things clear. Is this what you wanted to say?"

  "All Might, time's up. Please exit." The voice on the speaker said.

  All Might turns around. His body is facing the exit but he's looking at All for One. "I'll smash your future to pieces as many times as it takes. You're the one who will look on for the rest of your days"

  All for One laughs as he says "The rest of my days, huh?"

  Then after, all I could see was Midoriya and Bakugou. I didn't hear anything. It was like I was too far away, but I knew what was happening. Bakugou was asking him about his quirk. I never got to know what the answer was. I saw flashes of green and blasts of yellow and orange. At this point they were blurry. But I knew who was who. All Might eventually showed up and he hugged Bakugou. I don't know why, but I think Bakugou was crying.

  But then I woke up.
