A New Beginning (MHA X Reader)

Entry 2

  After that little fiasco and asking for permission from the Midoriaya's, it was decided that I would live with them. I was appreciative that I had a place to stay but I had to admit that I was pretty nervous. All Might drove me to my destination again. He told me that it was gonna be fine and that there was no need to be nervous. But of course, me being me, I was nervous to the point of my hands twitching and shaking. Why my family hasn't brought me to the doctor for social anxiety still baffles me to this day.

  Eventually, we got there and right outside the door, on the porch was a guy around my age with floofy green hair and big eyes. I'm not gonna lie, he was cute. He ran up to me obviously nervous too.

  "WHAA I-I'M IZUKU MIDORIYA IT'S A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU"

  I chuckled at the sight of him. Everything he did was kinda cutesy as I would call it. "It's nice to meet you too Midoriya"

  After a bit, we headed inside where I meet his mom which is very nice and I see where her son gets his nervous behavior. Again cute!

  After All Might and Mrs. (or is Ms.? it's confusing) Midoriya finished talking, All Might left. The other Midoriya helped me unpack a couple things. I didn't unpack it all since if I passed the exams then I'd just move to the dorms anyways. If I don't make it I don't want to trouble the Midoriya's, so I'll get a job and try to get money. Once I have enough I'll move out and get an apartment.

  I got to know Midoriya after quite a few hours of talking and stuff. He was bullied a lot as a kid but he said he didn't wanna talk about. But since his life seems to revolve around heroes and wanting to be one I assume it was something about wanting to be a hero, which, screw those kids.

  He showed me his notebook too. IT'S HIS 13TH ONE! Like I said, his life revolves around heroes.

  He told me about how awesome UA is and about some of the teachers. I'm excited about English class since it's my best subject (and finally a language I recognize) (and you might be wondering how Midoriya and I talk if I don't know Japanese, he knows a little English because of the class) and Present Mic teaches the class too.

  I showed him my notes on my quirk and showed him a few things I could do with it. He started furiously taking notes, which, again, CUTE! I also showed him a couple of old diaries that I hope to burn because of bad memories. I showed him this one too, he liked how I described little things and such and he corrected grammatical errors which I already fixed.

  "Hey, Midoriya?" I ask.

  "Yeah [L/N]?"

  "Can I see the notes you took on my quirk and stuff?

  "Oh, uhm... sure but it's embarrassing hehe".

  I chuckle after him and I read it.

Quirk Description: Quirk allows them to manipulate the sound molecules their body creates. [L/N] can manipulate where, how far, sound, etc. with it. However, if her limit is: Making it to loud, fast or, far. If they exceeds this limit than the skin around the body part will tear or the muscle can tear. They could even break bones!

Personality Description: Nervous but overall acts happy. Some insecurities about something that gets them down for a bit. Deep thinks a lot so she spaces out. They have an overactive imagination and can be very paranoid.

  "Uhm is it accurate?" Midoriya nervously asked.

  "Yeah, it's perfect!"

  After a bit of talking and getting to know each other, we went to sleep.

~~~~~Time skip to like a week~~~~~

 
  After a week of hanging out with the Midoriya's and getting to know them well, I finally got the letter to see if I got into U.A. or not. I hope I did or I'll just be a dead weight to the Midoriya's. Until I get a job and then have enough money to be an apartment, and such.

  I sat on the couch in their living room and next to me sat Midoriya. Ms. Midoriya was out getting the mail. I was bouncing my legs like crazy and getting up every once and a while so I could stand up and count my steps. That helps a lot when I'm anxious.

  Finally, she walks in and

ANXIETY HITS ME LIKE A TRUCK. I start hyperventilating a little bit but I do my best to stay calm. I also do my best to not shake, which, of course, makes it worse somehow. Ms. Midoriya hands me the letter with words of encouragement. With the encouragement Ms. Midoriya gave me, I opened the letter with still shaking hands.

  Inside was a little gray disc which, after a little inspection, I placed on the table. As I was getting the letter the gray disc displayed something.

  "WHOA HOLD UP; TECHNOLOGY CAN DO THAT?"

  My question wasn't answered since the audio kicked in.

  "Young [L/N]" All Might started. "Congratulations, you've been accepted into U.A. with the highest points! After all, you were able to defeat every single robot in the vicinity."

  At this, Midoriya did his very best to not freak out. As I said before, very cute.

  All Might proceeds to show me the video of me defeating every robot in the area with a simple swing of my arms. Midoriya struggled further to not freak out. It was really funny though.

  "So [Y/N], Welcome to your hero academia!"
