We all headed out for the quirk apprehension test. Although for them, it was now their second one.

Aizawa- sensei calls me out "[L/N], if you get last place in this... you'll be expelled." Oh my god, you have got to be kidding me. "Although you don't have to worry about that do you?" what the hell is that supposed to mean?

He tells me that it's like normal physical tests except with your quirk. I never did that before but I don't bother to tell him, I'll just watch how others do it and then do it myself. Shouldn't be too hard right?

The first test was a fifty-meter dash which is about 164 feet. I know for a fact that without my quirk I'm incredibly slow. However, with my quirk, it should be simple. All I would have to do is turn around snap behind me and then I should be there in no time. However, I'm nervous about who I'm facing. Her name is Mina, and she seems energetic and nice but I still can't help but be nervous. It'd suck to embarrass myself in front of the whole class.

Finally, it's our turn, I turn around and position myself properly, I also put my arms in an x motion so after I snap I get even more momentum when I slam my arms back down.  Mina...well I'm not sure what she's doing. She's just in her normal running position. Aoyama is looking at me a bit funny, but I think that's how he looks at everyone. I think he's just a bit intrigued?

But anyway, the machine tells us to go. I jump, also since I'm awful at jumping I have to use my quirk for that too. So I just amplify the sound of my foot muscle moving. Then I snap my fingers and amplify that too, make it go fast as well to push me backward with plenty of force. I fall about midway through but before I do a second tumble I use the heel of my foot to propel myself upwards and start again. I end up getting there about 4 and half seconds, which is just a little faster than Aoyama did.

The second test was grip strength. This is difficult to use my quirk in. I've already made my feet hurt by using the muscle sounds to jump but now I have to do it with my hand. But that's pretty difficult to do, so I'm not quite sure exactly how to do it yet. I'll look at the others while I brain storm, maybe they could give me ideas. But mostly everyone's just doing it normally. How much can sound carry? Maybe I'll ask Yoyo (that's my nickname for Yaoyorozu). So I walk up to her and ask her.

  "Hey, Yoyo?"

  "Yes [L/N]?"

  "How much can sound carry?"

"Oh, well, uhm earthquakes generate strong sound waves traveling through Earth's crust, and the mass associated with them could be as large as 100 billion kilograms which are about 220 pounds."

  "Ok, thanks Yoyo!"

  "No problem [L/N]"

So with that, I formulated a plan. I could snap my fingers, coat the sound molecules on top my hand, and have them kinda ripple on my hand the way an Earthquake would. Then when I push on the trigger lifty thing I could pull that force upward.

So I try that and it actually kinda works. I end up lifting about just 200 which is way below the 100 billion kilograms and Shoji's score, but still really good!

The next test was a long jump, meaning I'll have to use my feet muscles again, this may or may not end up in the tearing of the muscle in my foot. Without my quirk, I would have maybe gotten a quarter through, but since we're using it I get right at the end! Yay for quirks!

Next was repeated side jumps. Why is everything jumping?! I decide to just exert force by the outsides of my feet and my hands so I could go back and forth easily, kinda like what Mineta did.

And then there was the ball throw. I was excited about this one since I had a pretty vivid image of what I was gonna do. Uraraka got infinity. Jeez, that's pretty hard to beat huh? Eventually, it was my turn, but I got nervous again, Midoriya did another smile and thumbs up so that helped a bit. I remember him telling me about doing this so I copy him a bit pushing all the force from a single point: my middle finger. Then I swing my arms up in an x motion, again exerting force. Then I throw my arms down exerting force once more. My goal is to have it go out of the atmosphere, and into space, so that way it can be infinity too.

Aizawa turns his machine thingamajig around and... it's infinity! HELL YEAH! Everyone freaks out. Dang, I'm proud of myself.

For the sixth test, we had to do sit-ups which were easy since all it was was momentum. I could already get enough momentum without my quirk so with my quirk it would be impressive. Then there was the seated toe touch which I wasn't very good at, I'm good at backbends. But not this. Although I did snap and used the sound molecules to push my back down.

After that, there was the dreaded long-distance run. Without my quirk, I don't have much stamina. So I just kept blasting sound out of my feet. With that, we finally finished! After that the school day was over somehow, back at home we had 9 periods for each subject. But today was all physical, where's the mental exercise at?!

Midoriya and I headed back to the dorms. Although about midway there, Aoyama stopped me to ask if I want to head to the store with him. It was his turn to get groceries but no one wanted to go with him. I, of course, said sure!

And so I departed ways with Midoriya and headed to a local supermarket with Aoyama.
