New year's special

[Sorry of felt like gifting you with a New Years special..also it speeds up the romance factor of this..sorry it took so long *cues roundabout*]

Y/n and Joseph were in new Mexico enjoying the few days they had gotten off. Both of them were listening to music and enjoying themselves.

"Hello, would you like to dance?" A woman came up to the duo and joseph he agrees without looking back at y/n.

Y/n watched as Joseph and the woman had fun all on the dance floor. She turns around towards the bar she was sitting at and she puts her chin on the palm of her hand swirling the cup of water she had ordered not long before.

The water in her glass cup reflected the lights that were hanging all around her, she lets out a sigh pouting slightly. The bartender looks at her direction before putting up a sign that told he was off duty.

"What the matter?" He walks over to her after taking off the apron he was wearing, his brown eyes bore into her own orbs. He grabs her hand before leaning down to put a kiss on it.

"Sorry, I'm not into giving a stranger my affections." Y/n spoke and she turns her head slightly, she looked back and saw Joseph having fun with the woman again and she shakes her head getting up.

The bartender grabs her hand again but in a gentler way. She looks up at him with a scowl on her face."What's your problem man? Let go!"

Y/n's voice reached joseph's ears but the woman kept his head in her direction. "Mi Amor, please..don't worry about that other woman..just for now. I wish to be your new year's kiss."

The clock only had a few minutes left and joseph couldn't decline a sweet woman so he shrugs his shoulders. 'ahh I'm sure y/n will be fine on her own'.

Y/n looks at the bartender who puts a flower behind her ear and he smiles letting her go. "I was going to ask you for a dance for the new years. I wasn't trying to be creepy miss. It's a tradition to ask travelers for a dance right before the new years then everyone starts a dance circle together."

He explained to y/n who eased up nodding her head before she yanks the man by his shirt collar making him lean over the counter."I'll save you one dance and that's it. I don't have the frilly dresses to be dancing here, nor am I in the mood."

The bartender agreed and he hurriedly jumps over the counter and he grabs y/n's hand dragging her to the makeshift dance floor. He grabbed her by the waist and held her hand before they both began to dance together energetically like everyone else.

Y/n laughs happily not realizing how much fun it would be to dance with a stranger. She didn't realize she had caught unwanted attention until joseph clears his throat.

It was pretty obvious that he was jealous of the attention y/n was getting. He really couldn't understand why his chest sort of felt heavy, they had only known each other for at least a month or two.

"Mind if I cut in? Of course, you don't excuse me" Joseph pushes the bartender away and starts dancing with y/n. She lets out a sarcastic laugh rolling her eyes.

"So you just left that Hispanic woman for me? How terribly cheesy joseph joestar"Y/n states softly looking at joseph as the atmosphere suddenly got calmer and everyone began to slow dance.

Y/n stops dancing and looks away from joseph as she turns around. "Sorry joestar, but I don't know how to. Slow dance." She began to walk off of the dance floor and she widens her eyes getting pulled back by joseph who grins chuckling.

"You can't get away that easily you cute. Tomboy." Joseph's eyes sparkled seeing y/n become flustered and he pulls her in closer by her hips as he leans down keeping her trapped in his embrace. He began swaying side to side taking y/n with him.

She had no choice but to sway with joseph before they began moving with each other in sync with the music. Y/n's flustered face was all that joseph wanted to see, he couldn't help but feel his heart warm up At the sight of y/n. 

"You're..you're so cute." He mumbles and it makes y/n look up at him in confusion at what he said. "What did you just say?" She seemed oblivious to it but joseph was leaning in closer to her looking at her lips making eye contact with her.

"Joseph.." Y/n looks at josephs lips closing in the space a little more before they kissed.  Fireworks were heard and many people seemed to cheer for the new year.

The woman who joseph was supposed to give his new year kiss to had finally found him whining seeing him kiss y/n. She marches up to them and attempts to hit y/n with a champagne bottle.

The girl grabs it in mid-air shocking the woman as she breaks the kiss her and joseph shared. Her eyes showing a familiar tint that caught joseph's eyes.  He backs up looking at the woman shrugging. "I wouldn't have done that... I'd run lady"

The woman turned around and y/n built up her hamon inside the bottle and the top bursts open, the cork hitting the woman upside her head with little force but enough to injure her making her fall over. "La mona Aunque se vista de seda, mona se queda!!"

Joseph looks at y/n with his mouth wide open not expecting that insult to come out of her mouth. Everyone at the party began to laugh at the insult and joseph makes y/n look at him again.

"Stop telling her what she looks like..and give me another new year kiss," Joseph speaks in a low voice tone making y/n smile slightly as she nods.

"Yes, sir Mr. Joestar sir."
