Joseph didn't notice the pools of blood like y/n did, she was quiet as he poked fun at the German soldiers that were supposed to be on duty. "It's a little quiet, I'm surprised you don't have more than zero guards down here, where are all the german soldiers?? Hello!!?" Joseph yelled into the darkness of the place and caesar ar Looks left and right, the eerie feeling reaching his body as his spine gets chills from the less lively atmosphere.

"Stop being foolish Jojo" He demands from the boy and he sees y/n crouch down feeling the floor and she stands up again bringing her hand up to her face. "Wait. something's wrong here" Mark speaks catching everyone's attention and y/n walks over close to mark who was holding the flashlight in his hands in the opposite direction of everyone.

"He's right, there should be guards
posted all around this place." Y/n was listening intently and she finally took her final step over to mark after pushing Joseph out of the way frowning as she raises her hand to the light only to visibly cringe at the sight of the blood and the two teens beside her let out a shocked yell including herself before she kicked them hardly in their knees making them whine at the pain they had felt so suddenly.

"Okay, shut up. You, two idiots, made me panic when I already knew there wasn't anything right about the place or how wet the floor seems to be, it's a pool of blood and dead bodies in it!" "Dead bodies?? I thought it was bat dung and I just cleaned these shoes!" Joseph lifts his foot looking at the blood on them as everyone else besides y/n looks around the room.

She takes a step forward with her brown eyes scanning the room and noticing the bullet hole in a man's head she raises a questionable eyebrow. She leans over to joseph and pulls him down to her height and she whispers in his ear. "I Bet 10 bucks it's the pillar men or whatever is down here."

Joseph nods his head before kissing the girl's cheek making her flustered. "I bet they were all idiots and someone in here shot him before he killed himself." Speedwagon looks at the two teens and he fixes his hat placing it above his head the right way as he sighs inwardly. "This is no time for jokes ad bets you foolish kids, now look ar-" The sound of mark's yelling caught the attention of everyone and caesar let out an almost identical yell. "Those look like the dead husk of the soldiers that were supposed to be on duty here."

Mark began to freak out more, he drops the flashlight in shock as sweat drips down his forehead and onto his face. "What-....what the hell happened to all of them they're all dead!" He screams and runs in a different direction scared for his life and y/n tries to run after him to stop him, a gut-wrenching feeling was in the pit of her stomach and she knew it wasn't a good feeling to have.

She had barely touched mark when joseph snatched her back by her shirt and yelled for mark. "Stop where you are, Whoever did this could still be here! We don't know what's out there!" A cloud of smoke was in front of the mark and a shadow peered from behind it menacingly it cleared in time to show three men in old tribal garments looking down at Mark who lets out a yelp unsure of what to do. "Runaway mark! Get out of there now!"

Mark seemed to freeze in his spot and joseph pulls y/n back just in time into his arms while taking big strides backward to avoid the situation blocking y/n's view of the men walking past the mark with more than half of his body missing. Mark reaches out a hand as blood gushes through the missing half of where his body should have been and he falls to the ground, the sound of his necklace catches y/n's ears along with his estranged and somewhat bloody groans, as he falls to the ground.

"MARK!" Y/n turns around in time to see what had happened to mark and she began running over to him with caesar not expecting his life to end so soon when they had only met earlier in the night. Caesar held marks close to him and gives him a begging look wanting his misery to end. Y/n held his locket getting on her knees next to them both giving mark a sad and pitiful look.

"Im..so sorry" Y/n whispered putting the necklace in marks hands. she had noticed the picture of a young woman inside taking note that it must've been his fiance. the woman he was going to marry very soon. "They just walked through him like he wasn't even there! They have such massive power and they have only just awoken! We barely even exist to these creatures!"

Joseph was seething in anger while staring at the pillar men walking away as he ground his teeth angrily looking down at a dying mark while y/n and caesar tried to console him and tell him to hold on for a little while longer. The pillar men seemed to be in their own world as they discussed the certain jewel that caught y/n's ears as if she had heard it before.

"We shall be searching for the red stone of Aja, The stone is the last piece we need to complete the mask, Then we shall unleash its power," The one who held the mask said looking down at his servant with a horrid but eye-catching grin. "Of course master Esidisi, However, the human world has changed much over the years that we slumbered, Long ago it was the emperor of Rome who possessed the stone. unfortunately, I am certain that the age of time has ended and the stone of Aja is as far known to be lost to us."

The Mysterious one with a purple headwrap speaks up in a calming voice that almost seemed silky and alluring to y/n, He stares at her for a quick moment before glancing down. "It's simple all we have to do is find the stone of Aja and see where it is currently calling home." Y/n stopped looking at the men after she heard caesar crying and she looks back at him to see him choking back a few sobs.

"They...They killed him, they killed mark!" Caesar held mark's body even closer to him as he spoke about how the young man before him had a long life ahead with a wonderful woman waiting at home for him. Mark's blood-stained caesar and y/n''s clothes. joseph looks at y/n's pants seeing most of the blood there and sees most o the blood on caesars shirt as well.

Y/n felt so powerless watching as Mark died and his final words had struck a chord in y/n's heart even if she hardly heard them due to her paying close attention to the pillar men making sure they didn't try any funny moves. Joseph looked down at Mark's body in caesar's arms before looking at y/n. Tears streamed down her face and she was crying silently to herself.

"Y/n.." He reaches out to the girl and she held up a hand looking up at him and smiling through the tears, her eyes showed nothing but the pain and sadness she had just felt coming to her in waves like the ocean is angered and turning into a tsunami flooding the nearby ocean-side towns.

"Don't you dare touch me, Jojo." Y/n's breathing was even and she yelled at the pillar men catching everyone off guard, her feelings were strong at the moment as she began walking up to the pillar men. Mark's final words were ringing in her head like an off-track messed-up record player that was stuck on its last final note.

'Give her my love caesar'. Those words kept ringing in y/n's ears as she was pulled back by joseph and caesar who looked down at her 5'5 body frame shaking their heads. "you can't just walk up to them! Look what just happened, we can't afford that happening again."

Caesar pulls y/n behind him and he starts to talk more about mark before joseph calls out to him, all of the teens face forward towards the pillar men striking a pose while activating their hamon. "Caesar!" Joseph yells partly to the boy before he gets cut off by caesar. "Don't you dare get in my way, Jojo. I'm going to enjoy every second of this!" This is personal and I'll destroy these fiends myself!" Y/n let out a grunt agreeing with him as the sound of her knuckles popping made him look over giving her a pained smirk before he dashed forward.
