"AGH! What was I thinking? When I said I needed A month I was only bluffing!"Jojo pulls at his hair while his knees were up against his chest, he scrunches up his face in a stressful manner whining about the situation he put himself and he looks over at y/n who was sitting deep in thought while holding a glass of water and she takes a sip out of it absent-mindedly and caesar a joseph conversation they were currently having only sounded like nothing but muffling noises and she heard caesar yell 'catch' and she comes out of her thinking process and she sees another glass of water being thrown in her direction, she didn't have enough time to react or comprehend what was going on so the girl catches it without using her hamon and the water splashes all over her making her groan facepalming. "I hate it here along with you guys, I want to go home!" She speaks her mind for the first time since they have arrived in Venice but in a playful manner. Caesar gulps seeing y/n's shirt being wet and clinging to her skin and he turns his attention to Jojo fighting his train of thoughts. "Anyways, I brought you both to Venice to meet my mentor, but it's going to be a grind." Joseph puts his hands on his face giving a fake yet surprised look yelling. "Oh No! Grind and work are my least two favorite words in the English language!" Y/n sighs and she goes up to Joesph leaning close to him as she uses her index finger to flick the tip of his nose. "Jojo you big idiot, it's for our survival, and for the sake of humanity suck it up buttercup."

"Venice huh? I thought this was pretty much a tourist town. What's a Hamon master doing in a place like this anyways?" Joseph says putting his hands behind his head while walking behind Caesar and y/n, the girl was enjoying the scenery and looks at the ocean that was in view of them, Y/n sees a rather fancy gondola with a single person on it and she points it out to caesar who points at it as well asking the person a question. "Hey you there, do you know air Supplena island and how long it takes to get there?"

Caesar waits for a reply but it seems as if the person is ignoring him and it ticks y/n off so she grabs a pebble off of the ground ready to throw it at that person. "Gondolier, did you hear what the hell my friend just said?!" Y/n says trying to get the person's attention and it worked. The person turns their heads slowly to them all and it sends shivers down y/n's spine at how intimidating they seemed. "How is he standing on that oar like that? Uh, I don't think I like this one bit" Joseph exclaims looking at the person rather than uncomfortable, and y/n knocks on his forehead a few times sighing.

"You idiot, it's either magic or hamon, If I were you I'd go with the latter of course." She says softly while paying attention to them, she was interested in seeing how the water repelled against the oar causing ripples in the water. But almost as quickly as they stood onto the oar in the water they jumped up slightly only to kick the oar harshly into Joseph and y/n's direction, they both were hit with the oar, joseph in the face and y/n in the chest.

Both teens spit up a little blood and y/n reacted almost immediately grabbing the oar and throwing it back only for the person to catch it and throw it back into the gondola, Joseph, however, was thrown into the water skidding across it holding his balance up as best as he could looking like a frog ready to leap its way into safety meanwhile y/n was still on land trying to catch her breath. "Well, at least they both can control their hamon very well." A woman's voice came from behind the mask and it was pulled off mere seconds later and it surprised the teens as caesar spoke up. "Coach!? Is that you?"

"COACH?!?!" y/n exclaims and the woman throws the mask at y/n with a stern look on her face. "Hush child, don't you know to speak calmly? Even your clothes show you have no manners" She says to y/n and the teen turns her head to caesar who held in a laugh.

Caesar then introduces his coach, Lisa Lisa, to his friends and she makes a 'hmph' sound seeming to stare at them in slight disapproval before looking back at joseph who walks in the water of Venice towards Lisa Lisa who grabs the oar again dropping it in the water before kicking it up with her foot again. "If you wish to learn hamon, You must be prepared to die for it!" Water gushes upholding both sides of the oar and Lisa uses it as a high bar before doing several flips on it. "Can you stop the theatrics? I'm not having a good day and I'd rather not see a woman flipping for fun." y/n says impatiently and caesar hits her on the back of her head and she turned back towards him getting fired up using her feet to sweep under his own tripping him on the ground before she stomps on his chest a few times.

"Hit me like that again you blonde pixie girl!!" Joseph's shouting caught y/n's attention and she saw a shadow loom over her before she heard clicking sounds along with her breathing seemingly shallow. "What the hell is this? Take it off!" both teens yell nearly panicking while looking at each other as Lisa explains to them what she was indeed planning. "Joseph and y/n from this moment forward, you will be wearing that breathing correction apparatus until I say otherwise." Joseph started panicking while trying to get the mask off of his face and y/n did as well and she stops panicking as she tried to breathe normally to breathe easier out of the mask which at first didn't work but she didn't give up, she watched as joseph panicked even more nearly getting lightheaded.

"Master how to breathe and you can run marathons while wearing it." Joseph looks at y/n before looking at caesar and Lisa who were watching him with shocked and stern gazes. "Are you crazy?! Get this damn thing off of me!!" Joseph suddenly plunges into the water gasping as he yells for help. "I can't breath!" Even though it was a terrible moment seeing how he was drowning y/n couldn't help but laugh falling on her back as she rocks back and forth with laughter before her breathing spiked up abnormally causing her to panic again making Lisa and caesar facepalm. "They both need all the help they can get or we'll all be doomed coach."

"You witch," Joseph says pulling on the mask and caesar looks at the back of josephs head glaring intently. "Careful, you want another go-round with her?" He asked and joseph turns his head. "I would never hit a woman" y/n gets up standing next to them both, her laughing had stopped by then and she crosses her arms looking at joseph as caesar lets out a short laugh while y/n sighs. "You're lying and you know it you're an ugly monkey. "

(TIMESKIP CAUSE I'M LAZY)

"Is this oil? Why the hell are we in oil caesar? Explain!" y/n says and caesar explains to her exactly what its for before he starts to climb with y/n trailing right behind him and she uses her hamon in her fingers and toes before switching to her feet and walking her way up and she takes big strides, as she is above caesar. "Stop looking at my butt Johnny boy before I just drop onto your ass and end your life before the pillar does!" She looks back down at joseph seeing him use what seemed like a rope climbing his way up to caesar and two knives cut the rope making joseph fall back down. She hurriedly switches to her hands before Lisa notices her and she uses her hands to climb up even more. "You sly dog." Caesar comments and y/n looks down at him laughing a bit.

"I'd say the same about you too mister flirt, you'd mess with the rodents on the street if you could. Y/n says and she nearly slips putting her hands back onto the pillar before looking down at joseph who had his fist clenched and yelling at himself. "She really will leave me down here if I can't make it out! The fact that she's so damn beautiful makes me even more furious!" Y/n's ears heard the echo of his words as she narrows her eyes down at joseph before turning her head back up. 'can't focus on him right now, need to focus on surviving this idiotic thing.' For the next day, the teens were focused on themselves and their hamon not speaking to each other. Y/n ignored joseph as did caesar and they hear joseph cheer for himself figuring out how to climb the pillar, they smile to themselves looking down at joseph before they continued to climb the next day. Y/n was now at 23 meters as she was going at the pilar at a quick and hurried pace nonstop compared to those below her who were at 19 and 16 meters she continued to go at the pillar until she reached the edge placing her fingertips upon it and she nearly slipped off passing out from the hunger and sleepless nights she had endured to get up there with a break, but someone grabs her hand pulling her up and she lays on her back to meet the gaze of Lisa Lisa who nods at her approvingly. "Congratulations, you made it up the pillar. now go rest and I will bring the boys when they are finished." Y/n nodded and she notices two men and a blonde girl standing at the doors of the pillar. The men help her up as the blonde girl escorts them all to a separate building to house them all. The blonde seemed to smile happily at y/n cheering her on for completing the pillar and y/n fainted at that point in time, her exhaustion catching up with her in that instant. {END OF CHAPTER}
