"The waves are calm." He places his palms on top of the water and slaps it, of course it stings but nonetheless gives Jeongguk glee.
They're in waist-deep now, only clad in shirts and shorts. Taehyung, who was only inches away, agrees in a small,
"Yeah,"
"Where's Jimin by the way?" He asks, turning to the man who he splashes a small amount of water too.
"Jeongguk," Taehyung says unimpressed before answering, "Went out to see his boyfriend."
"Ah Min hyung?"
"Min hyung?" Taehyung asks curiously.
"Yoongi, that's his boyfriend's name." Jeongguk shrugs, swimming to a deeper part until the waters up to his chest.
"Careful!" Taehyung squeaks, padding to where Jeongguk was.
Jeongguk laughs, "I'm fine, don't worry."
"Anyway," Taehyung's gaze looked cloudy. "Yoongi?"
He tested the syllables on his lips. "So that's what they call him now."
Jeongguk stares at him, "Isn't it what he's supposed to call hyung? That's his name?"
Taehyung shakes his head, "Nevermind." And disappears below the water.
Jeongguk laughs and copies him.
