At age seventeen, Trea Kom Podakru arrived at Polis, where the commander lives & is the capital of the coalition. She was just a simple fighter in the royal guard, it was her duty to serve the commander, Lexa Kom Trikru.
She kept rising the ranks & eventually became the co-leader of the royal guard. She was one of the commander's personal body guards, not that the commander couldn't take care of herself. She was close to the commander, if you wanted to find her you would always find her with Trea.
She was loyal to her commander, they have been friends for about five years. That's not the only reason Trea was loyal to her, she was in love with her but she had to push those feelings away.
It had been five years since Trea arrived at Polis, she was training with the commander. They were in the throne room training with their swords, Trea usually used a sword or for long-distance she was also use a bow & arrow.
Trea was gripping the end of her sword as was Lexa, Trea made the first move & attacked her, Trea dodged it, the older girl attacked her again which heda dodged, Lexa attacked her but the other brunette was quick & each other's swords clashed. They both backed up a bit, the commander went in for two hits, they're swords clashed once again. She twirled, when she twirled back to Trea, she lashed her sword toward her stomach but she dodged it jumping back.
They fought for a little while more, hearing swords clashing. Lexa swung her sword, once again both swords clashed but this time Trea had more strength than Lexa. Trea was continuing to use her strength to hold back Lexa, she pushed the commander's sword to the groud, the girl was quick & positioned her sword onto Lexa's neck holding her in place, not fully putting pressure not wanting to hurt her.
Lexa looked at Trea in amusement, she removed her sword from Lexa's throat, her sword was now by her side. The commander walked over to where her sword had dropped & picked it up, "Ai laik hapo yu ste nou ai baga" (I am happy you are not my enemy), making Trea chuckle, "Have you tried practicing with double swords?" heda asked, "Yes but I think I prefer just one." she answered.
Lexa walked over to the table & set her sword down as Trea put hers in her case, "Idia is getting strong." Lexa all of the sudden brought up. Trea nodded with a fake smile, she didn't like the idea that Idia could die in the Conclave battle.
Idia & Trea met the same year Trea came to Polis, they got along quickly & Trea quickly became her mentor.
Lexa noticed her fake smile, "Hey." she said making the older girl look up at her commander. "Idia is a smart girl, she won't go down easily." she smiled making Trea give her a real smile.
That's when they heard a noise coming from outside, they both looked at each other confused, Lexa began walking over to the balcony, Trea followed. They heard the noise coming from the sky, they looked up & saw some sort of shuttle that had a parachute, "Chit ste dei de?" (What is that?) Trea asked. I have no idea Lexa thought. "Kru?" (People?) she asked again but heda didn't answer interested in the shuttle falling.
They finally heard the shuttle make a huge noise signaling that it landed. They both looked at each other, "Em hkom oso gon ste kru." (It has to be people.)
"What else could it be, right?" Lexa asked her older friend, she might be the commander but she often liked to know what her friend thought of the situation.
Heda walked off the balcony & thought about she should do.
"Okay." Trea turned around & walked over to her, "I want you to go with some fighters & check out what's happening." Trea nodded. "Do you want us to-" she was cut off. "Don't do anything until we know more."
"Okay." she answered & began walking out of the throne room.
She began thinking of what she would find, Can it really be people? she thought.
Whatever she found she would do everything she can to protect those she loves, she has lost people & she didn't want to lose anymore.

hi, i'm definitely not here working on this instead of doing my homework. anyways, do you guys want me to do flashbacks on trea's past? because i can definitely do that.
honestly this whole trea loving lexa thing makes me want to make a lexa fic because i love her🥰
the trigedasleng translates are obviously not 100% accurate but i tried. okay anyways here i am finally finishing the prologue & publishing it & i'll try to post more, okay bye!
