Eva's POV

"Eva, I'm leaving in a few minutes if you want to come with me?" Liam asks. I'm babysitting Lacey and Lydia today, while Liam goes with Elise to the Doctors. Liam seems on edge, but he is clearly trying to hide it. I wonder why she is going to the doctors...

"Yeah that's fine." It seems silly not to ride with him back to his house.

"Okay, let me gather my things." He tells me. I nod and sit down to wait for him. I pull out my phone and text Harry to let him know he doesn't need to take me to Liam's.

"Ready?" Liam asks, I nod and follow him out of his classroom and out of the building. I don't want people seeing us getting into his car together so I keep a healthy distance from him, I don't want rumors to start. Because I know no one will think he is my dad...

"Are you nervous?" He asks when we get into his car. I keep my head down as he starts driving to his house.

"A little bit---yeah." I lift my head when a few minutes pass.

"Don't be, they are good girls, just put a movie in or give them coloring books and they will be entertained for hours." He tells me.

"Okay---" I trail off, I want to ask him if everything is okay with Elise, but I'm not sure if I have a right too.

"Is Elise okay?" I finally ask after a few minutes of silence, I look over at him and I see him take a deep breath, and tighten his grip on the steering wheel.

"She hasn't felt well lately, so we're hoping we will get some answers today." I can tell he doesn't want to talk about it, so I nod and look out the car window. When we arrive at his house we both gather our things (he takes my book bag) and walk to the front door.

"DADDY!" Lacey squeals as soon as Liam opens the front door. He drops everything on the floor and pulls her into his chest, Lydia waddles over to him, and tries to push Lacey away so she can hug him. Liam just moves Lacey over a bit so he can hug both of them.

"Eva." Elise greets me with a small smile.

"Hi." I wave awkwardly.

"Sissy!" Lacey pushes off Liam and runs into my legs. Did she just call me sissy?

"Sissy!" Lydia copies her big sister. I'm frozen in shock, how do they know I'm their sister?

"What? I didn't think it was a big deal." Elise whisper/yells at Liam. He must have asked Elise the same thing, I sigh and kneel down and hug them back.

"Girls be easy, Eva has a boo boo." Liam scoops his girls into his arms. I would've love to have grown up with a dad like that. A dad that would hold me when I was sad, kiss my boo boo better, and to just be there for me whenever I needed him.

"I left money for you to order pizza." Elise says with no emotion. I know I'm not a big fan of Elise (well her pushy-ness) but I don't understand why she has an attitude with me.

"Okay, what kind of pizza do they like?" I ask.

"Cheese." Liam answers, I nod my head and look down at the girls. They are talking amongst themselves by my feet.

"We should get going--- if you need anything at all just call me." Liam smiles.

"We should be fine." I smile down at the girls.

"Okay see you later." He leans down and kisses the top of their heads, he walks up to me and hesitantly presses his lips to my temple.

"We need to leave or we will be late." Elise says in an aggravated tone.
