Cheryl's POV
I sat in the waiting room when Jughead walked down the hallway, tears in his eyes. "What's wrong?" I stood up urgently.

I gulped, "She broke up with me..."

"What?" I asked mainly to myself. I ran down the hallway into Betty's room. She sat on the bed, clenching her fists- but being careful not to cut them. I sat down on the chair next to her. "Betty..."

"He didn't trust me enough. I deserve to live, to have people in my life who will just trust me just because they do, I know I'm amazing and worth being loved. I'm not a victim anymore." Betty continued staring blankly at the wall in front of her.

I looked at her astonished, she was so strong. She'd gone through more things in her life than anyone could imagine and yet here she was, saying all these things, and truly believing it. I was so proud to call her my cousin. "You are amazing Betty... you've overcome so many things, you deserve everything in the world." She leaned her head on my shoulder.

"Thank you for being here Cheryl, and understanding, you are my only family left..." Betty said.

"What do you want to do Betty?" I asked, holding her hands in mine. "I'll be along for the ride no matter what..."

She looked up. "Remember that old mansion you have in the woods that you guys left behind? No one knows about that right?" She asked get progressively more excited.

"Ya... I only told you about that when we'd go there and play when we kids," I answered.

"Well we're both smart enough that we could probably teach each other the rest of school..."

"Betty where are you going with this?" I asked, getting excited as well.

"What if we move into that mansion? Just get away from all the crazy? I'm going to be out of the hospital in a few days which will give you enough time to go buy everything we'll need, then when I get out we can sneak to the mansion unnoticed and fix it up..."

"I love you Betty!" I hugged her tightly. "You make the list and I'll get everything we need."

We both smiled at each other.

I'm actually really excited about these next few chapters, I hope you guys like where I'm going with this. It's gonna be less Bughead and more Cheryl and Betty bonding moments obviously, but i think that'll still be cute!
