Like usual (Y/n) woke up in the morning. She didn't get much sleep from last night's event although, Killer's tight grip around her waist kept her calm. It was about time for both of them to get up and do their chores but after the last time, she knew the man knows how to put up a fight. While enjoying the quiet with Killer, Kidd's words swam in her head.

'You're a Kidd Pirate, remember? Or did you forget?' Letting out a sigh she turns to Killer; mask still on.

She loved that her imagination could run wild at what his face could look like. She would imagine smooth skin and a handsome face like the ones books would brag about with princes. Sometimes it would be scarred and rugged from battle, with each scar telling a story. Although, as much as she would like to imagine, she wishes that Killer would take off his mask even just once. She trusted him, maybe even more than Kidd, but did he not trust her? The thought of it set off an unnerving feeling. Another sigh and Killer awoke. His arms left her waist to stretch.

"Morning," said (Y/n).

"Mmh, morning."

"Did you sleep well?"

"I had better nights, the screaming kept me up," (Y/n) tilted her head in confusion. "Don't worry about it, Hungry?" He asked, (Y/n) shook her head and Killer kicked his legs over the edge of the bed with (Y/n) still in his arms.

"Wait, I don't have any other clothes, Kidd only gave me one of his old shirts and I think I left it in the bathroom. Could you bring me there?"

"No, don't go in there." He said quickly. "Go to my draws and find a new shirt there instead."

"Why can't I go in there?"

"Just listen to me and don't go there, understand?" Killer squeezed her tightly that it almost hurt.

"Un-understood..."

"Good, I'll see you in the kitchen, we're on cooking duty."

Freshly cooked bacon and eggs filled the kitchen and the mess hall, pirate after pirate came in to have their fill of food.

"That's a lot to be served..." (Y/n) muttered.

"I can handle that, you can take a seat while I serve the others."

"No, it's fine, I can serve, you just sit back. You are the vice-captain of this ship, it wouldn't be right if you did tedious work like this." She said while tying on an apron. Before she could place the breakfast on a tray Killer held her back.

"The men will have your necks out there, (Y/n)." He pulled her closer to his mask, she could sense the worry in his voice. She places a hand on his mask.

"I know you're worried, but trust me when I say I can handle this, this time. Please." she frowned when Killer still kept her in place, "If you're that worried then you can watch my back as I serve, or better yet, help me out with the breakfast. Deal?"

"Deal," Killer let go and let her grab the plates. He soon followed her out back to the mess hall after getting an apron and tray.

The mess hall was bustling and wild with lots of yelling and hollering. (Y/n) took in a deep breath before taking a step and placing the first plate. Killer went to the same table to serve their drinks and was content on how the crew didn't harass her this time. Entering the kitchen to get more plates Killer watches closely as she smiled while serving the food. They did this dance for a while and all went well before she tripped over a chair; food and glass spilled all around her. Everyone hushed at the sound of the crashed. Killer tried to help along with a few other men before Kidd came in with a raging voice.
